Love this kettle
It look great and performs better! Comes up to temperature quickly, easy to use and now I’m drinking more tea. I have not yet used it for pour over coffee but with the elegant spout I imagine it works very well. Love it and highly recommend.

Easy and it Workz. (See what I did there?)
The media could not be loaded. I love my new kettle. It's really nice looking. Elegant design. It heats quickly and is easy to use. Easyworkz is a very appropriate name! It's easy and it works. It's really nice to have the gooseneck. It makes the electric kettle more versatile. I can boil water for tea or use it for pour over coffee where the gooseneck makes it easy to more accurately pour. The pot is a nice matte black finish with copper colored accents. (There is also a green color that seems to have a shinier finish.) I am concerned it could scratch easily so I will be careful with cleaning. But I won't know if that happens until some time passes. The base is a shiny glass and you will definitely need to wipe off fingerprints. The handle and the knob on the lid are heat resistant. The body of the pot definitely gets hot.You can set the kettle to temp in two degree increments. (The listing says one degree but you can even see in their own video it skips by two most of the time. But this is still pretty precise for most needs.) When you heat it up and it reaches the designated temperature, it will beep and automatically shut off.You can also use a hold temp setting. The listing says it can hold the temp for 2 hours. I assumed that meant it will shut off after that time. However, I find it stays on past the two hour time mark. This is one con for me. I wish it would automatically shut off so I don't make coffee in the morning, think I will make more so I leave it on warm, get distracted and not make a second cup and accidentally leave it on when I leave. I think auto shut off appliances are a great invention to increase our safety from human error. I also wish I could maybe set it to hold for a shorter time. It doesn't do that, so I will probably just boil and let it shut off so there are no accidents with the kettle dry burning. I could always heat it up quickly again. While it is in temperature hold mode it does make little click noises. It toggles on and off so you will hear occasionally clicks. It's not loud or annoying. I actually think it is good as it can help remind me it is still on and has not shut off.The inside of the pot has a min and max line for water. The min level is important to keep the water from boiling off and dry burning the pot. There is supposed to be a dry burning shut off safety feature for this. I haven't dry burned the pot yet so I am not sure how well this works. Overall, you want to avoid that as it will damage the pot. The max level tells you not to fill higher so the hot water doesn't bubble over and splatter. There are some nice steam holes to also prevent this from happening. It is recommended to use filtered water to prevent limescale build up. I may have to research how best to clean limescale as it seems like this can happen easily. There were some light water spots at the bottom after a few uses. It also says not to submerge the kettle in water for cleaning. You have to be careful with the heating element on the bottom.Overall, this kettle is well made and has an elegant design. The touchscreen is easy to use. It heats the max in 3 to 4 minutes. It's small-ish. Holds about three cups. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. You may want something bigger if you are serving larger groups more often. It's perfect for my uses. I love it. I hope it is durable and lasts as it is somewhat pricey. Though I think it is quality and it is 1200w while some other kettles that are less expensive are not as powerful (and therefore probably take longer to boil). One note: There are pour over coffee instructions on the box. If you want to learn, read it and maybe take a picture so you can save the instructions. I thought it was funny it was on the box and not in the manual.Overall, I highly recommend this fast, elegant kettle.

Interesting
Okay, so this is a hard item for me to review. I am used to the old tea kettle you fill up with water, put it on the eye of the stove, remove, then you just leave it there for the next time. These kettles were inexpensive and worked well. This is a new take on this and I really like some things and don't like other things. It is very thin like the old tea kettles. I get this. It needs to be to heat up faster but you definitely hear the water boiling. But, you can also get burnt easily. It doesn't have any kind of emergency shutoff if the water gets too low. This really should be there as a safety issue. This is supposed to be the tea kettle of the future, so let's not burn down the house in the future! Anyway, at this price point ($99.99 at the time of this review) it doesn't seem like a big request. The outside finish is nice, attractive, and a pain to clean. This is a hand-wash item so you just have to be aware of things like that. Finally, it holds a lot less water than the traditional tea kettle, but it's made for a quick heat. More water means longer heat time. So this is for those who want a quick cup of tea. You should be able to get 2-3 cups of tea out of it, depending on your cup size, it might only be 1-2. Old lady tea or Millelenial tea?Overall, I do like this as a modern alternative to the tea kettle and if you are aware of the above, it should work well for you.I hope this review was helpful!

Perfect for the coffee conissuer in your life
Even if that conissuer is you, this kettle is perfect for brewing coffee and tea. The included temperature probe tells you exactly what temp the water is at any given time which allows you to know when you have lost the optimal brewing temperature of 200 degrees. The kettle can heat water from 104° to boiling at 212° and goes from out of the faucet to boiling in 4 minutes and 14 secs here in the Midwest US. The opening at the top is a little small for my larger hands to fit in for a good cleaning but my bottle brush solves that issue. The kettle seems to hold heat fairly well plus the hold temp function on the kettle is really nice so you don't lose the 200° water while letting your pour over bloom. I am looking forward to using the lower temperatures for kids hot chocolate that they can drink right away rather than waiting for it to cool down. The finish is nice but the colors are not really my cup of tea, it looks really classy in person but I wish it was available in black with bronze instead of green and bronze or black and rose gold. Still 5 stars as that is personal taste and this is the nicest looking kettle I have seen in person.Overall if you are wanting to perfectly control your water temp for brewing coffee, tea, or keeping temps cooler for kids hot chocolate, don't pass up this kettle.
