works for Metronet
I broke the jumper cable that made a connection between the service box inside my house to the ONT or the box that converts the optical fiber to ethernet. Since this cable was cheap and I saw it had the correct connection ends, and other things that matched what was stamped on my broke cable, I decided to give it a try. I really know nothing about fiber optic cable. It worked! I was able to cancel my service call. So I wanted people to know it works for Metronet service and not just what was in the product description. Also, when clicking the ends of the cable into the boxes be aware it is directional (a slot on one side). I did not catch this at first and thought the cable wasn't working for me. If it's hard to push in, take a closer look! You might be putting it in upside down!

Easy to install!
The AT+T modem was installed in the corner of my garage. I used this Optic Cable to move the modem to the center of my townhouse and now my iPhone works in every room. Everything else is hardwired and is lightning fast.

Network issues fixed after cleaning
I had many connection issues at first but then read about dirty ends. I used the included cleaning wipes to clean the ends and there have been no issues since. EVEN IF IT'S NEW you should clean the ends and not assume they're clean because they're new. I wish they had included instructions.

Replaces cable for AT&T fiber routers
My niece was vacuuming her room and yanked the fiber optic cable running from the wall Jack to our AT&T fiber router and irreparably damaged it. The AT&T rep told me there would probably be a $150 service fee to come swap it out. $8 and less than 24 hours later and we’re backed up and running. The shipping was lightning fast too. Highly recommend!!!
