This works well for hyper-mobility support, but it doesn't stay on the skin as long as what the PT uses

If sleeves and braces don't cut it for pain relief KT tape may be the answer. It took different placement of the KT tape to get the right result. Watch their videos and other YouTube videos.

My wife had a stroke and we use the tape on her shoulder to hold it in place and the tape holds up really well. We use baby oil to get the tape and adhesive off when it’s time to change the tape. Have been really impressed with it.

I tried both KT Original Cotton and KT Pro tapes for a problem with both of my knees (likely meniscus tears at different stages of healing). I was tired of the uncomfortable brace and compression sleeve that I'd been using. One knee was almost healed, while the other was strong enough that I could make the switch to tape. I opted for the uncut roll because I didn't want to be locked into 10" strips, which seemed too long for use on my knee. That turned out to be a good decision; I always ended up using less than 10" because of the tape's stretch. I used the KT tape under work clothes, not for exercise. The Original Cotton was good for one day of wear, even if I skipped a shower on a weekend. The edges of the tape would roll up under my jeans. Aside from the edges, the adhesion was okay. I found the KT Pro to be much better for me. Adhesion was great -- it would last 2 - 3 days. After a shower I would use a blow drier to partially dry the tape and then let it air dry while I finished getting ready for work. On my "better" knee, the tape made it feel as if there was no problem at all. It was wonderful to be walking around at work and realizing there was no pain in the one knee. Ultimately, I'm back on the knee brace I hate because it's going to take a few weeks longer for the other knee to heal. I could keep using the tape, but it would end up being the cost of several knee braces by the time I'm fully healed. If you want to try the KT tape, I suggest the KT Pro is worth the few extra dollars because it'll last longer.

Love this KT tape. It really helps me if I have some injury or as a prevention.
