Family planning at your fingertips
I’ve been using the Easy@Home Basal Body Temperature (BBT) Thermometer as part of my fertility tracking routine, and it has exceeded my expectations in both performance and reliability. Accurate and Reliable: This thermometer measures to the hundredth of a degree (e.g., 97.68°F), which is exactly what you need for fertility tracking and ovulation prediction. I’ve found the readings to be consistent day after day, which helps make my fertility charting more precise and trustworthy. User-Friendly Design: It’s very straightforward to use—just turn it on, place it under your tongue, and wait for the beep. It takes about 90 seconds to get a reading, which is pretty standard for basal thermometers, and well worth the wait for the accuracy it provides. Memory Recall and Display: One of the features I appreciate most is the memory function—it automatically stores your last temperature, which is great if you’re groggy in the morning and forget to write it down right away. The screen is easy to read, though I do wish it had a backlight for dark mornings. Silent Option & Portability: There’s a discreet beep when the temperature is ready, but it’s not overly loud. The thermometer is lightweight, compact, and comes with a clear cap to protect it during travel—perfect for taking it on the go. Perfect Companion for the Premom App: If you’re using the Premom app, this thermometer syncs up perfectly with it. While this model doesn’t connect via Bluetooth, it’s designed to integrate seamlessly with manual entry, and the app gives you a complete picture of your cycle. Final Verdict: For the price and the features, the Easy@Home BBT Thermometer is one of the best options out there for anyone using natural family planning, trying to conceive, or wanting to get more in tune with their body. It’s affordable, dependable, and does exactly what it promises.

Good value
I've had and used this for about a week. It delivers one beep when you turn it on and 2 once your temp is ready. Doesn't wake my husband. The screen is backlit and I haven't had any issues with it connecting to my app as long as I open it right after taking my temp (which I don't find to be a big deal). Its super easy to use and automatically connects to your app with the date and time. I've only used it for a week so idk about the battery but I have some on hand and they're only $5 for a pack of 4 so again not a big deal. A little spendy for a BBT but for the ease I think it's worth it. I also like how big the screen is.

Excellent thermometer - a must-have for regular BBT tracking with the PreMom app
I have really appreciated the convenience and easy use of this BBT thermometer. When I wake up in the morning I immediately stick it in my mouth and it reads my temp in about a minute, then uploads it directly to my PreMom app via Bluetooth. If I happen to have my Bluetooth off for a few days, the thermometer still retains the readings and I can go in the app, reconnect to the thermometer, and it will upload the past temps - I've done up to a week before. I've had this for a couple years now and only had to replace the battery once, even using it every day. I also love that it comes with a case that it snaps into, so I can travel with it in my toiletry bag without it getting damaged. Super handy thermometer - well worth the extra money for the peace of mind you get that you won't lose your temperatures or have to manually input them when you're still groggy from waking up. Highly recommended!

Accurate, Takes long time to read
The thermometer is very accurate to the thousandth (.01) place and the pre-mom app is very easy to use even without subscription. My biggest complaint is that this thermometer takes so long to read. Like an extra two-three minutes laying in bed after waking just for it to read & then another minute to reconnect it with my phone. It doesn’t seem to stay paired with my phone, so I’m always having to reconnect it every morning for the temperature to load to the app. I do like that the previous temperature shows up the next time I turn it on.

Valuable
This smart basal thermometer has made tracking my cycle so much easier and more accurate. The large backlit screen is perfect for early morning readings, and the thermometer syncs automatically with the Premom app, which saves me time and ensures nothing gets missed. I love that it charts everything for me, including coverline and ovulation prediction. The readings are consistent, and setup was simple. Being FSA eligible is a great bonus too. Highly recommend for anyone using BBT to track fertility or cycles!

Not reliable
I wanted to love this thermometer, but it's just not reliable. 1. Syncing: Many other reviewers have mentioned that syncing is an issue, and that is true - you HAVE to have the app open in the background WHILE you are taking your temperature in order for the app to reliably sync your temp. (For reference, I have a Samsung S9.) If you try to sync later, even if the thermometer reads "connected" it may or may not record your temp to the app. If it does sync later, chances are it will double record your temps, like it did in one of my pics. 2. Temperature accuracy / inaccuracy: Super questionable. This is my first time trying to track my BBT. I'm not trying to conceive but am trying to learn more about my health after reading the Period Repair Manual by Lara Briden, a book that I would highly recommend to all women, especially those TTC as it's all about helping your body ovulate. Anyway, I've been using this thermometer for about 6 weeks now. I keep it under my pillow and use it as soon as I wake in the morning. I usually wake up a couple of times in the morning so use it each time, just to be on the safe side, but have noticed that sometimes my temps are wildly different which seems weird to me. For example, this morning I took my temp two times, once at 4:30 when I woke because my partner got out of bed, and again at 7:10 when I got up and my temps were 97.59 and 98.18, respectively. (Those are 0.59 degrees apart! WHAT!) So today I decided I would test it consecutively to see what my temps were just a few minutes apart. As you can see from the pic, I used it 4 times in a row and got different temps each time. The first was 97.93, then 98.02, then 97.95, and finally 97.91, so the widest difference is 0.11 degrees. These aren't terribly different...but wtf? I don't want an approximation of my temperature, I want a reliable reading to record in my tracker. How am I supposed to know which one to record?! I can guess, based on where I'm at in my cycle, but then what's the point of tracking my temp at all? It's exasperating. I ordered a different bbt thermometer so keeping my fingers crossed that it's better than this one. 3. The app: Sucks, overall. I do like the line chart it creates as it makes it easier to see spikes and dips (assuming they are correct...). However, once you start a new cycle it basically deletes all previous bio markers. You can still track your temp, but all the info about your period / ovulation is wiped from the chart making it impossible to compare your current cycle with your previous cycles. Basically, it is useless. 4. The thermometer: Other than accuracy, it's a decent thermometer. It takes 1 min and 45 seconds to take your temp, which feels like a long time but whatevs. It beeps quietly, it has a yellow backlight that is not blinding and only turns on for a couple of seconds when you actually need it: when you turn it on, and when it's done taking your temp. It stores 30 previous temps so that you don't have to remember what the reading was, and when your app doesn't sync you can still go back and record it in the other app you're using to track your temps.

Works great, very attractive design
I like everything about this thermometer. It is simple to use, attractive design, measures to the hundredth of a degree. It paired automatically with my iphone and the app interface is easy to use and informative. As other reviewers have mentioned, as long as you turn the app on before you take your temp, even if you open it before you go to bed so it’s on in the backgrounfmd, then the temperature immediately records in the app and shows up on the nicely designed graph. I chose this thermometer for a few reasons. 1. My doctor told me to start tracking my basal body temperature so that it will inform what is going on with my hormones. She said to get one that goes to the hundredth. 2. I knew that checking my temp each morning would get super old, especially if I felt like I was making too much noise or waking up my husband for a long time, and this one has a backlight when the temp starts taking and when it’s finished with the reading, so I do not have to use a seperate light. 3. It was a little more expensive to get one that is smart and has an app associated with it, but I knew that it would be worth the small added expense for the convenience of having the info automatically stored in my phone, so I would not have to write it down and then remember to take the book with me to the doctor....and I was right. I recommend this product to anyone shopping for a BBT thermometer.

Works fine
I spent a long time trying to find the right basal thermometer, and this one has been good. I've been pretty pleased with this thermometer and haven't had any of the issues listed below. Yes, it does take a long time to read the thermometer, were talking less than a minute though and that doesn't really bother me (I'm half asleep anyway). Occasionally it will have some issues syncing, but I notice if I sync it right after taking my temps it works better (syncs with the PreMom app). Directions are included to explain how to set up and sync if you need them. Sometimes I just manually enter, and it hasn't been a huge deal. After tracking temps for 3-4 months I'd say the temps are pretty reliable. Occasionally I'll get an outlier temp, but thats just the nature of BBT and its usually due to taking my temp at a different time or under a different condition (which you shouldn't do). I will admit that at first I had been wanting a cuter thermometer, which is a bit ridiculous I know. I didn't think this one was very attractive, but I actually think it looks better in person. I was surprised by how much I liked the big screen, as it is actually pretty useful early in the morning when I'm trying to read it. And yes, as many people have mentioned, the beep is very soft and will not wake up your partner. Thermometer also comes with a little clear case to store it in. So overall, I've had no issues with this guy and glad I bought it.
