I used these to install on glass of post lights on my house o obscure the clear glass. Absolutely LOVE the way these linear films look especially when the Edison light bulb is on at night. Easy to install and after a year still look great.

I use this stuff everywhere! I personally find it very easy to use if you follow the directions and use a good amount of soapy water. I smooth bubbles out with a spatula. It is not completely opaque of course, but it just does a nice job of obscuring details and it really escalates a furniture project! I've had this stuff on glass for years now and it doesn't look any different. On larger projects it is a little easier to get little stuff stuck in there (we have cats and cat hair is insidious) but that is not a flaw with the product.

Edited review: Ok, so I had a ton of trouble getting the film off the back in order to get it on the window. Once I did, it was smooth sailing. If you're having trouble with trying to peel the backing off like I did, here's a tip for you - rough up a corner a bit and rub the front and back between two fingers to cause some friction. This should help release the backing film a smidge in order to get it going. Also want to add that the width wasn't quite there for my window so I had to add on a bit. Not sure if you can see it in the pic but I matched it up as best as I could. It looks decent in person, especially from farther away. Up close? Kinda looks like crap but only because I didn't get the wider option. That's on me though. Original review: I don't know how anyone has been able to actually use this product. It says the backing needs to be peeled off prior to sticking to the window....but, how? It's impossible to peel away the backing! Mine refuses to come off. It doesn't even look like there's a layer to peel but there must be because it says there is, and so does everyone in their comments. So why is mine so difficult yet everyone is talking about how easy their install is/was? It's beyond frustrating! I need privacy from my neighbor and this was meant to be the solution. I gave two stars instead of one because I like the look of the faux reeded glass and this gives that without the expense. Just gotta get around not being able to peel the backing off.... ...somehow....someway....😤

In their infinite wisdom, the builders of my home put a long tall window right beside my front door. You can see into my entire entryway and into my living room. My dogs destroyed the little blinds we put there which looked pretty weird anyway - but this stuff looks nice and neat and doesn't seem to be getting damaged from my dogs when they get excited and jump at the front door, and it is not see through. It's been about 4 months since I put it over the glass and it is adhering well and let's in light - which I wanted. I would buy again.

Easy enough to install but quality isn't great. Spots where pattern is basically missing. It'll work for now but will likely replace in the near future

Loved this product. Very easy to use.

I could not get the film to adhere on the edges and would peal up. Likely due to no static cling and that the roll is wound so tight that the film curves. Wasted a whole night cutting out perfect squares for my front door. So tired of these bad products. I am returning for a refund.

Very easy to install and trim. Perfect for my sliding glass doors; I have a first floor apartment and I can open my blinds to let in sunlight and still have privacy.
