Hauling a 35 inch nitro ridge grapplers on the back of my jeep jk and this carrier handles it great. anyone with a little hardware knowledge can install this themselves no problem. It’s pretty sturdy although when you close the tailgate it does rattle slightly or going off-roading but nothing to worry about. Looks very flush with the rest of the Jeep and makes it look more aggressive because of the customizable height of the tire. Definitely worth it especially considering the price as compared to other tire carriers but can’t give you a clear answer on how it might handle a tire above 35 inches.

Came as advertised easily fit 35 tires in the middle setting so will fit larger. Recommend to buy rubber plugs to fill the wires for the light if you delete the third light. Also get new spare tire bumps the old ones might be worn.

Good quality, very sturdy. Lifted my 35 in tire up high enough to clear my bumper. Definitely recommend upgrading your tailgate hinges too.
