Crime-a-natly! You never think you'll need to replace a broken door knob until you do! Bought this kwikset and Amazon sent it fast! Really fast! Then we followed the easy instructions until we could close and lock the bathroom door again! It works!

The finish on these is beautiful and they feel solid and dont wobble. They are definitely scratch resistant but i havent really trief to scratch them with anything. They do not weigh too much.

I have bought many kwikset locks in the past they have been very good and easy to install. Now they have changed the lock. Designed to be easier to install but I think they are actually harder to. The easy on screw slots are supposed to make it easier to assemble but actually they make it harder to. The striker plate doesn’t leave much room for the lock to catch. I like the older design better but it’s still a good lock. Bought this lock to replace a Schlage lock but this one would not hold the door tight. Change in the game. Had to install the lock on another door that had a window blind that go's over the patio doors. This design was very useful. I didn't have to take the window bling off. Made it easy to install so I guess it has hidden benefits that normally you may not use but if you do I can see why they designed it like this.

Size is just like a normal door knob, looks great feels great and it's sturdy. It's the best one out there and just so happens to be one of the lowest prices I found. Highly recommend it.
