I have used this permanent hair color product for years and can honestly say, it is the best. My natural hair color is white. The dark auburn shade turns out exactly as shown on the box and I receive many compliments about my hair color. It comes with a Shine Protection Conditioner which helps keep the color vibrancy. This conditioner should be used once a week for high impact shine. It has a pleasant floral fragrance.

This one is easy to use. It doesn't have a strong smell compared to other brands I've tried. It takes about 25 minutes once it's in to work for a first or infrequent time. That's a few minutes less than average. I had 30 and 35 minute wait times with prior brands. It covers greys reasonably well. For me, since I have very dark hair, the greys show up a lighter red than the rest. It's important to remember to get the temples and under the hair, not just the top layer, especially in front. That was the hardest learning curve for me. It does not seep down. Lather it like shampoo and you should be fine. It lasts a good long time. I only need to redo when my hair grows out. The color doesn't fade. It doesn't stain the tub, which was a problem with other brands. It's very easy to clean if it gets on some not fabric item it shouldn't.
