Can i leave this continuously on or it has to shut off after 30mins?

There is a choice of two timed options when you turn the Baby Shusher on - either 15 or 30 minutes after which time it turns off. When used correctly, it is not necessary to leave this going continuously. When baby is distressed, Baby Shusher should be set to full volume and placed next to baby, and as baby calms down, volume can be reduced or even turned off. Babies generally have a fairly rapid response to the Baby Shusher - and should it not work, there may be a genuine reason for baby's distress such as colic or a dirty diaper etc.

Is there a volume control button?

Yes, the Baby Shusher does have volume control. The loudest volume is tested to be not more than 95dBs which although may seem loud, babies hear constantly before they are born, which may account for the calming effect of this device. The volume twist control means that as soon as baby starts to settle, you can reduce the volume as much as you wish.

Does this help baby settle in the car seat for car rides?

This baby shusher is very good when used to settle baby in a quiet room but not sure about using it in a car as the car engine might be a bit of a distraction but it might be ok. You can only try.

Yes I still use it with my 9 month old and works always
