Great Monitor Light Bar - Just a Few Minor Quibbles
This MELIFO light bar is fantastic for reducing eye strain during long work sessions. The auto-dimming works perfectly, and I love the stepless brightness/color temperature adjustment - it's so easy to find the perfect lighting. The anti-glare design really makes a difference! A couple small issues: 1. The mounting clips don't grip my external monitor very securely - it tends to slip if I adjust my screen position 2. The circular control button is a bit confusing at first - I expected it to rotate, but it's actually just a press button (short press/long press/double tap for different functions) That said, the remote control is super convenient, and USB power makes it easy to use anywhere. For the price, it's an excellent purchase - just needs slightly better mounting hardware for external monitors. (Works great for both work and gaming - much easier on the eyes than overhead lighting!)

Sceptical about the hipe
Seen many reviews on monitor bars and how much they improved use in low light area’s, thought I’d give it a try. This one fit well on my setup, wanted one with a remote so I didn’t knock the light adjusting it although it does have buttons on the light as well. Also needed to be able to fit a camera on top which worked out ok, have put a small Velcro trap on just to keep the secure. Gives great light options plus the auto dim feature. Very happy overall definitely improved computer use in low light.

decent lightbar for the price
decent features and little remote. easy to use. adjustable brightness is nice. not sure if it is just this one or light bars in general but still get a bit of glare from it off the screen on to the keyboard making it harder to see the keys. still good for the money compared to much higher prices of bigger brans

fits both laptop and main monitor
MELIFO Monitor Light Bar This light bar comes very well packed and protected by foam in a smart looking presentation box. It was very easy to set up and appears very well made. I had to do a bit of wiggling to fit the light into the holder but found a bit of a slide and twist motion helped. The final step of lining up the USB socket was managed by gently lifting the front of the screen clip and rotating the light. It fits nicely on both the main computer and my laptop and seems well balanced. The light bar can be operated by pressing the light bar itself or by using the remote supplied. It comes with a very small round remote control which is operated by a simple press button. The remote has a magnetic base so stays in place on my laptop. It is powered by a USB cable (supplied) which plugs into the back of the light bar. I hadn't realised there was such a device for lighting up a computer but it makes it so much clearer than using the main light. Its very convenient and saves space as you don't need to find room on a cluttered workstation for a lamp. A lovely product and I'm happy to have reviewed it.

Great product but remote is unnecessary
Great product, easy to put together however I spent extra on this compared to other options for the remote. You have to hold the button for 10 seconds to turn the light off...or just insta tap the light. If you're sitting at your desk, tapping the light is more convenient. Unless you really value the remote, go for an option without the remote, its just extra cost.

Brilliant Monitor Light Bar With Handy Remote Control Magnetic Button.
At first I was not sure to what this monitor light bar could offer until I actually had it placed on the top of my iMac and I am impressed! The light bar itself is very good quality and well put together. As thin as my monitor is it fits well and sturdy in place, it stays put and does not wobble at all. There is different brightnesses that you can select from and also different shades of white to suit every lighting need. I especially love the little button that you can control the monitor light bar with and turn it on and off by a couple taps on the button, you are also able to change the tone of the light too via the button. I noticed that the button was indeed magnetic too, as I have it placed to the front of my iMac where the metal apple logo is. You are of course still able to change and turn the light bar on and off by the light bar itself should you accidentally misplace the little button. Finally, in regards to eye straining on the computer, it certainly helps me a lot! I found that my iMac adjusts the screen brightness accordingly to my light bar brightness and it just helps my eyes so much better than what I was struggling with for long periods of time. Only negative I have is that It does however light up every spec of dust that I have on my monitor and I do have to clean it regularly now but apart from that one simple thing it works a treat and I am super glad I have it and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to buy a good decent monitor light bar.

Excellent Product - Bought Two!
I’m absolutely thrilled with the MELIFO Monitor Light Bar! I bought two of them – one for each of my screens in my home office, and they’ve made a huge difference. The auto-dimming feature is fantastic and adjusts the light perfectly to match the surrounding lighting, creating a comfortable and glare-free workspace. I especially appreciate how it doesn’t create any screen glare, which helps me work for longer hours without straining my eyes. The remote control is super convenient – it’s easy to adjust brightness and turn the light on/off without having to reach for anything. The design is sleek and modern, and it fits perfectly above the monitor, providing just the right amount of light. Overall, I’m really impressed with the quality and performance. If you’re looking for an efficient, comfortable desk lamp to improve your workspace, I highly recommend this one!

Perfect. It does everything you need.
Good pricing, good adjustment options, perfectly attaches to any monitor, it doesn't create reflections in normal circumstances, and effectively reduces eye strain. Pretty good buy in general.👌🏾

Very Impressive, A BenQ Beater??!
As someone who tends to go down Rabbit holes when researching a product I want to buy, monitor light bars were not so much. It was pretty clear from after watching a few people trying these out that there was one clear winner in this field albeit priced as such. That was, of course, the BenQ ScreenBar. As I needed two of them for my 43" Monitor, that would set me back $360 plus taxes if I wanted the wireless control (which I did naturally!). So when I found this product for $81 all in for the two I decided to gamble on them. And I couldn't be happier with them. The light is Asymetric, the LEDs dim down as low as you could ever need. And I was able to pair the two bars to one controller. The only minus is the remote control isn't as practical with ther single button, but all controls are possible with double clicks/long presses etc.. I will admit I have not personally been in posession of the BenQ fixture, but I would put my money on this product if someone compared the two. Great Product!!!

Great product, one small improvement though
What more do I need to say that hasn't already been said in the comments already? It lights up my workspace, looks nice, the remote is handy, the touch features on top are great, and that's about it. My problem rests with the counterweight on the back. Aside from that, the front lip, and gravity, there's nothing securing this device to your monitor. If you live somewhere that gets earthquakes, or you're not working on a stable surface, this will fall off easily. A tensionable clip would have been a much better solution here. As for the counterweight itself, it doesn't work. It worked fine for the first few months, but now it doesn't keep its shape so I need to readjust it or else it's just barely hanging on by that front lip. Some velcro squares would help, but it shouldn't be necessary, other than that I haven't had a problem. Now that I think about it, maybe it's because of the weight of the USB-C cable that's pulling down on it? I got an extender and right-angle adapter plugged into the back so we'll see how it goes. I'll try and update this if I remember to. Edit: The next morning the light bar needed repositioning, even with the angled cable. Velcro it is. 2/23/25 update: I've had some velcro applied for a couple of weeks now and have no further issues.
