Kamada less sodium dashi soy sauce
I use it like a regular soy sauce. My sister gave it to me when I was visiting her in Hawaii. She said if I like it, I can order through Amazon. This was my second order since March of this year. It's not very strong but has enough dashi to make it taste little better. Dashi means broth, it is a soy sauce with little bit of broth. I eat Japanese food often, therefore, I use it a lot!

The very best soy sauce from Japan!
This is my favorite and most versatile soy sauce in my opinion. I like it so much that I used to purchase several at a Japanese supermarket every time I visit Japan or at a large Japanese grocery in major US cities to bring back (it was heavy...). Now only a click away on Amazon in a 7 pack! You may ask why this soy sauce is different. It's a "dashi" soy sauce meaning that it broth based (bonito / seaweed (konbu)). Regular soy sauce is a product of fermented soy beans. This product has broth in it which adds flavor but most importantly it enhances the flavor of the food that you use it on. It's wonderful as a sushi/sashimi soy sauce, as an added flavor for your Japanese soup based dishes, as a dip sauce for tonkatsu/tempura, or even as a soup base for Udon and Soba noodles. Added benefit is low sodium. Much less than the basic soy sauce out there. Thank you Amazon for carrying this product (and Kamada for selling it through this outlet)! I'm taking one star off because I wish they would offer different package and container size.

Do not buy unless the seller clearly states the expiration date
I got the package today (Jan 20, 2022). It contains 7 small cartons of dash soy sauce. The whole package has the expiration date of Sep 2022--well too short for this kind of product. Last time I bought a package of 7 cartons (in 2019), the expiration date was 2022. Since there's no way I can consume so much soy sauce by Sep 2022, I'm returning the package. Do not buy unless the seller clearly states the expiration date of the product.

It tastes better than normal shoyu
And it’s half the sodium. It’s a win win. My favorite shoyu. I had to hunt for this one. I’m so glad Amazon had this!
