(Worth reading the long and updated review all the way to the end) This cat tree is great! The whole thing arrived in one box, weighing 37.2 lbs. Box isn't small but is not too bulky for one person to carry inside. Everything was well packed and padded with foam. There were no weird smells. No scratches. It was assembled reasonably easy by one person in under an hour. Comes with instruction which are very helpful and well done. All of the pieces were well labeled, even the fabric pieces, which by the way are amazing! They are super plushy and soft like a nice soft stuffed animal. The cat took to it right away and was kneading and petting the plush parts while exploring it immediately after assembly. There's no carpet on this. Just the rope pillars, plush pillars and plush "pillows". It's SO much nicer than carpet!!! The pillows attach and remove very easily by means of velcro strips which are already in place on the frame pieces, so you don't have to puzzle that out. The plush pieces should be washable since they are removable. There are no velcro strips on the "pillow" parts. The nature of the fabric sticks well to the hook velcro, so it won't be an issue for delicate washing. It's probably best to wash on a gentle or hand wash/air dry when needed, just as one would a stuffed animal. I'm not sure that the hammock is able to come apart for washing. Also, the plush fabric for the U-shaped platform isn't designed to be removed. I'm sure if it gets too dirty or old you could remove it permanently and put new fabric on there...if you were determined. The other pieces would be very easy to replace, if you are a handy sewer and have the supplies. That was the selling point for us...something we would be able to clean and/or partially "reupholster" when needed. Ever tried to pull the carpet off one of the carpet cat trees that you get as one fixed piece from a store? It's a joke. Don't try. This will be so much easier to keep clean! The base has the brand label on it, in a way that isn't intended to be removed. It's not like an easy peel off sticker. There were extra assembly pieces included. You will need a drill with allen wrench type bits for the black screws. Everything else can be easily done by hand with what is included. It is very sturdy and attractive and has a lot of places for kitty to sit on and explore in a not too tall or too bulky setup. This cat tree is beautiful, if a cat tree can be that. Cat luxury for sure! Really glad we got this, and we highly recommend this cat tree. the cat loves it! UPDATE: When first assembled the cat loved this but then not long after she totally stopped going on it. It had been put where the previous tree had been and while the cat had always gone on the old one this one turned out to not please the cat in that area. After a couple weeks of her total disinterest, we moved the cat tree into the living room and now she is in it/on it a LOT. If you get this (or any) cat tree and cat shows initial interest and then declines, maybe try relocating to a more interesting area. Like at first, she again loves this cat tree. She uses the top two perches and the fort (top 3 levels) most. I don't think she has ever used the hammock, but I think that is because it's so low. If you have dogs, you may find your cat goes to the upper levels too. Maybe cats would be inclined to utilize the lower-level hammock in a dog free home? The cat LOVES the plush fabric and will make biscuits on it and purr just like when she is cuddling a warm blanket on a human lap! FUR AND VOMIT: Cat hair comes off this like a dream. Our cat is dark colored, and we weren't sure if that would be a problem with the white fur of this. It's not at all a problem because cat hair comes off the plush material SO easily. It's kind of amazing how easy cat hair comes off. Last week she had a vomit on the white fur. I lifted/unvelcroed the section where she vomited and held it over a garbage can, the vomit (wasn't watery) sort of just peeled back and fell in the trash. The ability that this furry fabric has to release hair and thick ick is absolutely incredible! After dumping the ick in the garbage, sprayed the area with cleaner and washed gently, several times, in hot soapy water. I did not scrub at the furry fabric. After thorough gentle wash, squished water out then air dried it in a warm and well-ventilated area. Last wiped the hard surface down and the next day replaced the fabric which was perfectly clean and white and perfectly plushy and soft. As good as new.

I mainly purchased this cat tree because of the hammock type feature, washable fabric, and the modern/nicer look of the wood. It was very easy to assemble took me maybe 30 minutes, did have weird package smell but faded after a day or two. Took a day for my cats to ‘accept’ it, but its a hit for sure. My tuxedo cat spends most his day on the perches and sleeps in the hammock at night. My tourtishell girl likes the box compartment and the hammock as well. I haven't seen them use the scratching post yet but they seems to be good quality. They are both around 12 pounds maybe. I do wish the top perches had a bit more surface area as the boys legs tend to hang off when hes up there. It came with extra bolts if you dont want to have the tall perches also. I thought that was nice in case the cats didn’t use them it was a bit customizable. Pretty sturdy, I’m not using the wall mount right now but I dont think id need to anyway. It had a little wobble when they would jump on it but I added a rug and its fine now. It would take a very large energetic cat to knock this over id think. Overall I love the look and cost and my cats love it and actually use it so id recommended.

The cats love it. The stairs might actually survive now that they have something else to destroy. It arrived well-packaged, the instructions were clear (shocking, I know), and I set it up by myself in under an hour—no tools, no drama, no “some assembly required” trauma. It looks great in the room and feels sturdy enough, though time will tell once The Claws get serious. Customer service? Fast, helpful, and weirdly pleasant. Didn't expect that, but I’ll take it. Only downside: the platforms are tiny. My big guy still claims them, but it’s like watching a watermelon balance on a teacup. If you have larger cats, just know they’ll probably use it anyway—dignity be damned.

Cat towers aren’t the most aesthetic thing in the world but this one matches all my furniture and has a modern rustic vibe that suits my style better than those ugly carpeted trees. Huge bonus are the ridiculously easy to clean cushions that are removable and washable. Hair clings to those carpet towers terribly but that isn’t an issue with these fluffy removable pads. I think the cats like the fluffiness of them too, they are like removable pillows. Their old cat tree had a cubby hole but they never used it so I stored their toys in it. This new one has been up for a few days and the cubby hole has been used frequently by the smaller kitty. The hammock is my bigger cat’s favorite thing and one of the other reasons I purchased this particular tower. Compared to other towers I’ve owned, this one is by far the sturdiest. The cats could be having a WWE smackdown on this thing and it only shakes the slightest so I’m not concerned about it falling over. I think this tower is well worth the money. I had delayed buying a new one but the old tower was tattered and falling apart and I wish I’d gotten this one sooner because it is so much better for them and visually appealing for me. As far as assembly, it was very straightforward and easy to put together with only 1 person. About 30 minutes total and all the tools were included. (Note: the grey/white cat weighs appx 13 lbs and the cat in the cubby weighs appx 8lbs)

I highly recommend this cat tree! I have 3 large cats & they love everything about this tree. They sleep in the box & climb & hang out on the shelves too. They use the scratching posts a lot as well. My Main Coon LOVES the hammock & spends a lot of time sleeping in it. Give them a day to get used to it, after they explore it, you will find it hard to keep them away from it! It took me little time to build & the instructions were easy to follow & it was a snap to assemble. It is very stable & sturdy. Looks beautiful too!

Easy to assemble, comes with everything you need, including a strap to secure it to the wall as well as foam pads for under the base. It took me about 40 minutes to put together. The removable pads are really soft and you can remove them for washing. You can’t remove the hammock part so I would put a blanket in there to save the material. It’s pretty sturdy, and well made. Overall a great purchase for my cat. For reference in the video, my cat is 4 months old and weighs 4 pounds.
