Dorman 42408 Round Headlamp Retaining Ring For 7 In. Headlight Universal Fit

I used these on my 69 Dodge Dart to install aftermarket led. As many have noted, the rings were tight and wouldn’t slip over. A simple work around, was to remove some of the edge where it sits around the light. Take your time. They will work.

Nice and tight against the glass, nice chrome look, better quality than original as the original was tacked on to the tabs and this is a solid piece. It’ll be put to the test cause of the potholes on these dirt roads (Seldovia Alaska). 1979 Chevy bonanza (c-10).

Love that these are made from one piece of metal. Had both of mine break that had the tack welded tabs. They have more tabs than you need, but I could bend them back and forth to break them off. Worked great for my 1978 G30 Van

This does not fit a Jeep Wrangler 97 it says it was a universal fit not even close my advice is to make sure the item you purchase states that it fits I'm sending this back

Fits 7" headlight but had to remove 3 of the mounting tabs to fit in my application on a 1975 Camaro. Very nice piece and tabs are made out of same piece of metal so none are wielded on

I got this to replace the one on my 1979 Camaro. Unfortunately, only two holes line up, which is only slightly helpful. At this moment, it's better than nothing but I will be ordering the one that's supposed to be an exact fit. The price on this one was just right though.

Extra tabs allowed it to fit my 75 Pontiac. Very tight fit on headlight - had to very carefully compress ring. Not original style screws but the longer screws allowed me to compress fit over headlight. Needed alignment afterwards.
