I have installed countless, they have not failed me yet...
I literally could not tell you how many cars I have installed these on. Most often, they are of the pavement pounding beater variety, in dire need of a flush. I cannot think of one time when this kit did not do what I expected of it. Pro-tip(s): Don't forget to turn your heat on - you do NOT need to have the blower motor on, but turning it all the way into the red ensures you have coolant running through the heater core. Remove your thermostat for the best results - when you are running cold hose water, that thermostat may never open and you really aren't flushing the entire system. Only turn the hose on as much as you need - turn it up until it just starts to overflow. Your hose at full blast can be 45 to even 80psi, your cooling system runs at just 15psi. If your heater core is at the end of its life, 45psi can do it in. If you do blow your heater core out, don't blame this kit - your core was months away from blowing out all on its own!

If you know what your doing it's simple to use.
Product was sturdy, instructions were a little vague.

Be Careful If This is Safe to Use on Your Vehicle
I bought this to flush the cooling system of my 2010 Ford Fusion but after watching some YT videos it is not recommended to do the sort of flush I had in mind using this product. Don't get me wrong, the product is totally fine and useful for 'older' vehicle cooling system flushing but some modern vehicles needs special procedures (my 2010 Fusion needs to be evacuated and filled using a vacuum type of device) so look before you buy.

Works great
I have used these before and think they work great. I use two per vehicle rather than one. I install one in each of the vehicles heater hoses to facilitate flushing in both directions. Works great and you can't beat the price.

Wish it had more parts
Wish it had a direct fit for coolant hose to garden hose, the one in there will leak water out somehow

Simple. Works well enough but not necessarily needed.
You can accomplish the same thing that this kit does simply by disconnecting your heater inlet hose and pushing the cut end of an old garden hose onto the heater core inlet. This just gives you a convenient spot to connect to for future flushes. Also, while the instructions with this kit mentions nothing about removing your thermostat, a whole lot of folk who dont realize that they should are gonna end up with steam lock after flushing their system. After flushing your system with this kit, your radiator and hoses will be empty of all fluids(if you follow the instructions) BUT your engine block will still have a bunch of hose water in it. So then you'll close up all drains and pour in antifreeze, right? Except that your engine wont get hot enough during that procedure for the thermostat to open. This leaves water only in your engine block that will turn to steam when your engine DOES got hot enough. This causes your system to have steam on the engine side and cold antifreeze on the radiator side of the thermostat. Which causes ur thermostat to continue not to open. Your engine starts overheating and your heater wont work and you wont understand why. So the best way to avoid these kind of issues us to remove your thermostat for the flush. That way, all the hose water will drain from the engine when you reinstall the thermostat. You'll get a better flush as well.PS: I installed this in my parents jeep so theyd have an easier time with flushes later if they had to have anyone but myself do it. They're 80.

Great product
This Worked great (the water neck overflow that's supposed to go into the Radiator fill won't work on new vehicles that you fill the radiator through the overflow, the plastic pipe they give you is not big enough.

Make an informed decision prior to purchase!
GENERAL ADVICE: (1) Make sure you have a Coolant Tester to check the specific gravity of the coolant mix so you can adjust operating temperature range accordingly to your environment. (2) Use distilled water with full strength coolant for a perfectly adjusted mix. Pre-mixed 50/50 is good, but since it is nearly impossible to remove all water after flushing you will likely need full strength also to achieve the target temp range. (3) DO NOT mix coolant types. Know for a fact what is in your system. There are three main ingredients in coolant to be aware of: propylene glycol, silicates, and organic acids. Certain blends of coolant types can cause system damage in some applications. If in doubt flush and use 100% of the manufacturer recommended type. (4) Use containers you trust to transport coolant to a disposal facility. I recommend the Hopkins FloTool Dispos-Oil Recycle Oil Jug. It is inexpensive, awesome, and can be used for oil or coolant.IN THEORY this product should save time and headache in doing regular flush and fills... IF it works with your vehicle, AND you know how to use it. This will not work on all vehicles. This product is a shot gun solution attempt. Make an informed decision before purchase.WHAT YOU GET: there are eight pieces in this kit. Two hose clamps, heater hose T junction (x3) for three different size lines, one cap for the correct size T, coolant diverter/adapter for coolant collection into a container, and an adapter to hook a garden hose to the aforementioned T.RECOMMENDATION: search YT for videos on, "Installing a Coolant Flush Kit." There is a series of videos which are 2-3 minute segments showing you each step of using this exact product. You will then either appreciate knowing correct procedure for use upon arrival, or decide that it's not for you. Either way you benefit.WEAKNESSES: (1) This product is designed to be used with TAP WATER via garden hose to flush. Tap water is not recommended for use in automotive cooling systems due to it containing minerals that will build up and possibly lead to damage and/or premature wear. Use of distilled water is best. (2) I believe the plastic pieces to be poor quality. (3) MODIFICATION of your cooling system is MOST LIKELY required.USAGE: The intent of this product is for you have a T in the SUPPLY hose leading to your heater core. Some vehicles have such a device from the factory, MANY DO NOT. If your vehicle has such a part from the factory I recommend you BUY THE DIRECT OEM REPLACEMENT PART for use in-line. Usually it's called a "Radiator Flush Tee." I will concede the other parts may be of functional value to justify this purchase if you already have a flush tee installed, especially since this product is inexpensive. If your vehicle does NOT have a flush T pre-installed then you are expected to slice open your heater core supply line for installation. Some vehicles use a metal casing for that hose and this is not an option.OTHER OPTIONS: (1) Blast-Vac Multipurpose Cleaning Gun. Uses garden hose supplied water AND compressed air. Useful for clogged heater cores. Be careful of line pressure! Most automotive cooling systems were designed for under 25 lbs of pressure. This device can also be used to create a VACUUM (negative pressure) for system cleaning and can be used in different places throughout the system. (2) Thexton Cooling System Back Flush Tool. (3) Lisle Heater Core Backflush Tool. All of these provide effective ways to completely avoid modifying a system that does not already have a T in-line.CONCLUSION: The plastic parts do not seem high quality in my opinion, and therefore untrustworthy in the long run. If you need a replacement line tee then I recommend a genuine OEM part. If you do not currently have a flush tee installed I don't see the benefit of cutting a hose and adding an additional point of possible coolant system failure.

Waste of money
Only work if you have an old car with a "radiator cap" and an American style garden hose end. Very disappointing, went straight in the bin.

Worked exactly as advertised
Used this product to do a full system flush on my 2000 Buick LeSabre equipped with a 3800 series 2 V6. I cut into the heater hose near the back of the engine, slipped the adapter on, opened the rad cap and hooked the hose up to the adapter. It worked great and flushed all the old Dex-cool coolant out. I even managed to refill some of the system by pumping some of the new coolant into the adapter. After everything was finished and the rad was filled with new fluid, I put the cap (that came with the kit) on the adapter and have left it since. It's been over two weeks, have had coolant temps as high as 230 degrees, no sign of any leaks whatsoever from the adapter, it appears to be holding up great. If you have the general know-how and a few basic tools, would definitely recommend. It will make future flushes and refills far easier and faster now.

5/5 Would buy again
This worked perfectly on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I used it after running the chemical flush and it certainly seemed to get the gunk out. The only thing that I would recommend is getting about three or four feet of old garden hose to stick in the end of the drain spout so you can aim the drainage into a bucket without making a mess. If you fill up more than one bucket when flushing like I did, this will come in handy. Also, the T-junction really helps if you use it to bleed the air out of the system when you re-fill.Install time was less than 10 minutes. If you think you will ever be flushing your system in the future, or even just changing the rad or hoses, this product will pay for itself in time saved.
