Hubby bought this as his first bass, after learning accoustic and electric, and reports that it has a beautiful mellow sound that is a delight to hear. It is gentle on the fingers and light, and pleased him immensely.Highly reccomended for your first bass guitar (just remember to buy an amplifier for it)

Great First Bass; High Quality at a Reasonable Price Point!
My first bass; arrived in excellent condition and plays great! Fit and finish is competitive with my guitars which cost double or more. Only caveat was I didnโt seem to have a battery included for the active pickups. Wasnโt a big deal for me as I had a spare 9v, but just a consideration.
