Not rigid like a book. **Q: Can you take pages out? Thanks** A: Not the plastic pages themselves, but obviously the contents. **Q: Can you insert a title slip down the spine?** A: No I don't believe so. From recollection the spine was quite narrow and I don't think there was the facility to insert anything. I was very disappointed with the product. I was looking for a hard cover and this was very flimsy and flexible. The title description I found to be misleading. Apart from that it was fine. **Q: are pockets clear or opaque?** A: They are clear so you can perfectly see what is on the paper inside them. The rigid cover is made of thick plastic and does feel rigid, the pockets are of a reasonable quality and again is excellent value for money.
