BabyTV DVD Big Bugs Band

Dear Sirs, the DVD arrived within the schedule, on July 24th. I am happy with it, although I thought it would contain all the Big Bugs Band clips available on YouTube. There is one missing, though. Anyway, the DVD is charming and my grandson, who is one year and three months old, recognizes everything I'd show him before on YouTube. As per The Jammers, they are also charming and the language is not a barrier for my little boy, since music is what matters. If there is any other Big Bugs Band DVD available, please let me know so that I can order it. Thank you very much.

Found big bugs band accidently on youtube, then on babytv. It's the only programme she's ever paid any attention too and she loved it from 4 months up till around 12 months and it was great for keeping her distracted whilst putting the washing away, washing up and other domestic mission impossible. The DVD has all the songs on I think plus some extra's which she seemed to like. I found some of the songs quite pleasant really and not the type that stick in your head.

This is fantastic, my 3 month old boy loves this DVD and enables me to have time to shower / do chores etc, a must for any new mum who needs a little time in the day whilst baby is entertained by these colourful bugs & amusing tunes :) I must admit I am a massive fan as well, and find some of the baby's programming rather annoying but Big Bugs is the only thing that I actually enjoy listening to!

I have purchased this for my 2 year old son who is fond of all series of Baby TV.. especially 'Charlie and the Numbers', 'Big Bugs Band', Hippa Hippa Hey'... these DVDs are excellent in quality, audio is too good and language used is soft and slow... this is not just visual entertainment for your kids but also helps in developing vocabulary skills. I really like all these DVDs and my son enjoys them a lot.

My daughter is almost three years old, and she wants to see it every day. And me too, I like it very much. There are different currents of music played, like irish, samba, jazz, african. I like the way the music is played, and how the bugs are acting. The voices seem to be children ones, anyway, it sounds really good.

Little girl loves bugs band and thought great when I see it advertised. Its expensive for what it is and very dissaponted at paying that price for a total of 9 songs. Even more dissapointed at having them annoying Jammers on there ruined the whole dvd sometimes less is more.

If you have doubts about this DVD just search for Big Bugs Band on good old YouTube. It's actually hilarious the way these bugs perform. They do assorted music such as samba, rock n roll, r & b reggae and some African tunes. This band could fill Wembley or the O2 easily!

Appalling condition, poor quality recording and just all round naff.

The Big Bugs Band is one of the most clever and fun little music videos I've seen. Both boys that I take care of LOVE it! The band plays their various genres of music - each one a perfect length for toddler attention spans - and they are followed by The Jammers. I wasn't so impressed with them at first, but they grow on you. I think the graphics just aren't as sophisticated. But i think the goal of the video is to expose toddler-aged children to various types of music and their components, instruments, and enjoyment derived from listening and playing music. One of ;my' boys (both under 2) seems to prefer the bugs, whereas the other really lights up with the Jammers. It's nice because you can play this and just listen to the music - thereby limiting screen time for the kids. Also, they both mimic various sounds that the bugs make, which is the beginning of speech and vocalization. Remember to watch and participate with them! You'll love it too.

My granddaughter loves this video at 4 months of age. She lights up and smiles when we play it. Very catchy tunes that she loves. The only down-side is that we all have these tunes stuck in our heads.

1 1/2 year old Grandson LOVES this 2 or 3 memorable catchy tunes....the rest not so much but those 2 or 3 are excellent. Reggae and Hip Hop tunes are the best.

My 21 month old son likes the bugs band for its music and dance. We play it during the car rides and he enjoys it.

Thanks you guys! My baby loves these lil guys now she gets to watch them when ever she gets ready and they have all of her songs she likes!
