Classic Dark Choc Marz. Mini Loaves 300g

Very tasty, but I ate too much of them. My fault, they are delicious.

I love marzipan and so these were a real treat. I must point out the marzipan flavour is very nice, it’s not strong like the cheaper end of the market where I think it’s almost a chemically substitute. On a side note I have also tried the flavoured ones, again only subtle but delicious, the coffee and rum are excellent.

Irresistibly delicious; plenty of calories but in Winter this is welcomed.

I received the box and tried one of the chocolates yesterday and they do not taste as they should. They are a huge disappointment and I will not try to eat the rest. They were bought from Queens Coffee trading through Amazon and although I have tried, I cannot find a way of contacting this seller directly. Niederegger Lubeck Marzipan is my favourite chocolate. Just this Christmas I was sent two boxes, exactly the same as this, from Germany, sent by my cousin, and my son gave me another in January bought in London. Normally they are absolutely lovely and fresh, so I know what they normally taste like. The chocolate is 'snappily' firm and the marzipan soft and delicious. The box from Queens Coffee was a huge disappointment. Amazon to their credit offered an automatic refund immediately (I couldn't tell for sure but suspect it was arranged by a robot and not a person) but I would have preferred to have been able to contact the actual sellers to find out how these chocolates have been kept and why the quality of them has so markedly deteriorated.

Ordered as a gift because I knew that it was quality marzipan. Nicely presented.

It was my first time buying marzipan, so I don't have a reference to compare. The taste was nice, and not too sweet. For having it with one cup of tea I needed 2 piece, so finished the box fast. I think it is a bit expensive for the amount you get.

Love, love, love this marzipan. I always ask for this for Christmas and birthdays as it's so delicious. It has a really high almond content, which makes it very good quality. I should savour this marzipan as a treat but I always guzzle it as it's just so good.
