Solidly built, easy movement and compact. Great for use onboard however I’d probably go for a slightly longer version for use at home for planning etc

Superb quality.
High quality item. Thick crystal clear perspex with brushed aluminium hinges. Clear markings on both parallel parts. Moves apart smoothly and firmly. For this price and quality you would have to be nuts not to buy one of these, if you need one.

I bought this for my wife to use in her quilt-making. After I showed her how to work a parallel rule, she grabbed onto it and uses it constantly. Like everything Weems & Plath sell, it's a quality piece and very well made
