The Good - Excellent built quality--and I mean that as in 'how they built stuff fifty years ago.' Solid aluminum frame and integrated mounting brackets are rugged enough for outdoor use, yet decorative enough for indoor use. - LED lights are highly visible but not so blindingly bright as to be unsuitable for indoor use. - Remote (batteries included!) allows for easy adjustment of multiple pre-programmed lighting sequences, manual operation (red only, green only, yellow only), and brightness. - Frame is designed for easy mounting. Sturdy molly bolts are included with product. Not Necissarily Bad, but Things to Consider - Remote requires line-of-sight to change lighting modes. Light cannot be operated via remote from another room. - Light requires AC power, meaning it must be plugged into a wall (no battery or USB charging). Would look much nicer without the cord dangling from the light. - Really more of a decorative item than an area or task light. Would not recommend as the only source of light for a room. In sum, only you can decide whether your decor is screaming for a traffic light, and only you can decide if you want to pay $100+ (as of time of review) for one. Should you decide to take the plunge on this one, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

This was bought as a gift and I'm GREAT!!

Ordered a total of 11 of them and found that 3 are defective and do not respond to the remote control. Almost 30% failure rate.

When I opened up the package, the light was bent. Sad day!

This traffic light works excellent in my race car event for 12-year-old. Only downfall is the remote control didn't work far away I had to get like really close up to it.

This was a cute light but the remote was missing? I plugged it in and turned on with the finger switch. Cannot comment on remote as there was not one, therefore the light did not work to the best of its ability. The lights would only blink slowly, one color at a time. So, definitely must have the remote. Colors are not very bright either, may have something to do with missing remote. I also think it’s a little pricey for the quality of the item.

It worked the first time it was plugged in for testing. After mounting it on the wall the light was stuck on red and would not respond to the remote. Sent back.
