Best headphones I have ever owned!

I bought these in 2020 when they were the top of sennheiser line of over the ear headphones for a combo of work and music, as i was going to be working from home and needed a good noise canceling headphone set with mic to take calls on and possibly listen to music on between calls. I bought these at best buy after testing many out in their magnolia experience and that place was loud. So i could tell the noise canceling worked. After installing their app and doing their eq tuning the sound became absolutely amazing, especially with the 3rd party poweramp eq i had already been using and bought for other headphones. The battery still in 2024, even after daily use for 5-7 days a week for 3 years listening to music at max volume and taking calls for 8-12 hours a day and charging every day holds its charge and lasts as long as it did when new. I've seen no noticeable drop off in battery life or performance. I paid $499.99+tax for these at the time in 2020 at best buy and Amazon didn't have them available, so $379.99+tax is a great deal only thing I've had to do is buy new ear pads as the factory ones wore out after all that. These are excellent over the ear bluetooth headphones with a case. I even got the momentum true wireless 2 earbuds because of how good their over the ear sound and both are my favorite earphones, used for different situations.

A lot of people say this on here (I’m never sure if it’s true or not) about “oh I’ve tried this and that headphone I currently own these *begins to list high end headphones*… it feels very bot-like. Let me tell you, I actually have purchased multiple sets of luxury ANC headphones, including Bowers and Wilkins Px, Sony XM, Sennheiser, name a brand I bought it. I’m not going to list model numbers because unfortunately for my wallet, I’ve been doing this since 2017. Imagine how much I have spent. That little rant being said, these are by far, and away, the very best sounding headphones with ANC money can buy. No it doesn’t come down to preference. It doesn’t come down to “I’m an audio engineer” blah blah, these are the best. I have literally almost every other headphone money can buy. These sound the best. Bar none. That being said, here’s why they are 4 stars and not 5: - battery life is listed as 14, it’s closer to 8. But if you see how the bass shakes the headphones on your head, how well these reproduce warmth, you’ll know why it’s low. - comfort is not great. The earcups are fine, they get a little hot but who cares, the leather is marvelous. No no my friends, it’s the god awful headband. -anc is alright, solid. Not Sony or Bose level, not even worth discussing them in that vain, but it does what it’s supposed to do. -app, eq, whatever nonsense doesn’t matter trust me bro (joke) but seriously, all the little details are filler. The points above are all that matters.

I bought these headphones a few months ago. Some features were not available unless you install their app, but the sound and aesthetic was good for the price. HOWEVER- the headphones no longer accept any charging cable (USB-C), and so the battery is dying with no way of recharging it. What SENNHEISER isn't telling you, is as soon as you ask for a warranty, they tell you that THEY ARE NO LONGER handling that, and send you to an infinite loop of OTHER people handling their consumer headphones. You go to THEIR website, and they say the warranty no longer applies to the US. I would NOT have bought headphones at this price, from a brand name like SENNHEISER, if I thought the warranty would not be honored. Do Not Buy!

this is a german written post. DONT BUY THOUGH. this is an obvious scam, but it could be a currency issue. nambia speaks german, and the currency there is about 5.1 cents to a single south african rand. 240$ (the price of these headphones normally) is about 4.7k rand. they could be trying to go 1-1 ration of rand-usd, which is a massive scam, but they could be underestimating the worth of an american dollar

Excellent headphones for under $200. Not sure why they are listed at this price – either a misprint or a scam. You can get this exact same set from many other sellers for the MSRP, which is about $200.

Once again, Amazon has put a completely fake price on something to make it look more appealing to the sheeple. While these are quality headphones I'm sure, as Sennheiser is a good company, there is not anywhere on the net where these things actually have an MSRP of >$9000

I've been searching for headphones that fit my large head, these actually allow the earpads to reach down to my ears and they're very comfortable. The sound quality is pretty amazing too, better than my Bose QC II or pretty much any headphones I've had in years. Very happy with this purchase and I recommend them

No suelo escribir reseñas, pero hoy lo hago, pues creo que puedo ayudar a otros. Pocas cosas tan personales como unos auriculares. Así que sin querer crear doctrina, cuento mi experiencia. Soy audiofilo pero sin extremismos. Eso quiere decir que en mi casa hay unos cuantos pares de auriculares Premium de cable y amplificadores y Dac’s repartidos por varias estancias. Así que he pagado y estoy acostumbrado a la calidad y a pagar mucho por un poco más de calidad. Para salir a la calle tengo unos Momentum True wireless-II que van muy bien y estoy satisfecho con ellos. Tuve los I y luego, cuando salieron los II y no me arrepiento. El caso fue que empecé a alimentar el capricho de que necesitaba unos para cuando me movía por casa y demás. Así que empecé a ver opciones y finalmente me decanté por los Momentum-3 en beig que son muy bonitos. Leí las críticas y habiendo disparidad de opiniones los recibí con la idea que los acabaría devolviendo. No destacaba en nada, a mi el ANC me parece flojito, recuerdo los Bosé QC-15 que eran un cañón en aislamiento, menudos viajes de avión he dormido gracias a ellos. Pero como no los voy a sacar de casa no hay demasiado problema. El caso es que estuve mirando después de recibirlos y vi muy bien de precio los Beyer Amiron y los Shure Aonic-50, los dos con muy buenas críticas, así que pedí los dos para ver cuál me quedaría, yo ya estaba convencido que serían los Amiron. Por supuesto los Momentum se iban a devolver nada más escuchara los otros… pues he de decir que los otros fueron devueltos y los Momentum son los que han quedado. Porque? Porque, sin destacar en nada, lo hacen todo bien y están muy bien pensados. Son cómodos, las orejas van sueltas dentro de las copas, pesan poco, el sonido es el cálido típico de Senn, sin ser HiRes te dan una calidad y una limpieza de sonido muy satisfactoria, no son tan brillantes como los Shure, pero no cansan. No tienen el sonido “audiofilo” de los Amiron, pero no se te caen ni se mueven en cada movimiento de cabeza. El sistema de plegado y apagado y desplegado y encendido me parece, para el uso dentro del hogar de lo más cómodo e ingenioso. No tienes que pelearte cada vez con un botoncito de encendido/apagado que parece que lo haya hecho el enemigo. El emparejamiento es perfecto, sin fallos de conexión ni microcortes. Hasta lleva una App para buscarlos sino sabes donde los has dejado, porque están pensado para eso, en casa sin fundas ni nada, los pliegas y los dejas en el lugar que primero encuentras… El sistema de detección de levantado de copa y parada de sonido me parece muy bien también. Y con los precios que han ido bajando no veo mejor opción. Ahhh y 17h. de autonomía me parecen más que suficientes, yo nunca los dejo bajar mucho de carga. Así que está claro que los ingenieros de Senn. Como siempre, hacen lo mejor para el uso al que va destinado. Espero haberos sido de ayuda.

Ljudet, koppling till blåtand m.m. är bra och fungerar smidigt. ANC är inte perfekt men fungerar bra för mitt behov. Dock sitter de väldigt hårt mot huvudet. (Har ej ett stort huvud). Fungerar att köra trådat med bibehållen volymreglage m.m vilket är en bonus. Trådat ljud är bättre än med Blåtand. Fungerar dåligt tillsammans med blåtandsadapter Avantree DG80 men jättebra med telefonens blåtand. Hade lurarna suttit mer bekvämt hade betyget blivit en 4a. Tillägg: Efter ett par månader sitter lurarna inte lika hårt och mer bekvämt på huvudet. Detta gör lurarna bättre än 3 stjärnor så därför höjer jag till 4 stjärnor men man bör vara beredd och medveten om att de sitter hårt när de är nya.
