Makaibari Tea Treasures- Smoky Mountain, Organic Roasted Darjeeling Loose Leaf Black Tea Tin Caddy, 100 Grams

I have been drinking Makaibari for over a decade, and ordering from their online shop for the last 3 years, but was pleasantly surprised to find the Smoky Mountain tin delivering in the US from their Amazon store. I typically buy it from Spicewaala (in store) in Seattle but wanted to give the online order a try. Tea showed up within 48 hours and tastes perfect. If you're used to the non-smoky Makaibari, or like your tea between golden and red, then remember to steep this one for about 3 minutes. If you mostly drink tea with milk, I recommend you give this a shot without milk first. You won't need a morning cup of coffee anymore if you start your day with this. If you want a lighter tea for the afternoon or evening, I recommend their Summer Solstice.

Good darjeeling tea hot or cold. Medium astringency was pleasant compared to lower grades that I've had. Price is ok, although I typically get cheaper from other tea vendors. I would recommend this over any bagged version

Pricy but a very nice treat. Being a disabled Veteran money is very tight for my family. Hope the price goes down.

The smell and taste was not good at all and I am from Bengal so I know my teas…disappointing and item not returnable

I am little confused here. Ordered one box of tea. Two days back I have received one tea container without the lid. Yesterday I have received another one with the lid , intact … the way it suppose to be . Going to return open lid container but found out it’s non refundable. So advise me what to do & I am only paying for one .

Supposed to be a recent harvest, but lacked scent and taste. Doesn't taste like fresh Darjeeling at all. Tho Im spoiled because I have been there. Fresh Darjeeling is fragrant and delicious. This was a disappointment. BUT it will get you going thru the afternoon slump. ZOOM ! in a cup!

I like these teas for ice tea, but not this one. This black tea works better for hot tea at certain times in evening. This would not be my everyday tea

This is a very well refined and well packaged product. If you enjoy tea as much as I do you definitely need to try this.

The quality of the tea is superb, but the packaging by the seller is extremely poor.

This tea is for the connessiuer, and for those who would like to taste something different and special, experiencing every sip with time and peace on their side. For me, this was my first roasted tea brew, it has a light smokey taste, and it was indeed refreshing with a dash of lemon and no sugar. It was delightful it,was worth the money 💰

Flavour, aroma just average. Lopchu is much better. It is not worth the price.

Have been consuming this tea for a long time. Earlier Quality was good. But now it looks like quality has deteriorated. No aroma at all in the product.
