Bulk Electrolyte Powder, Unflavoured, 500 g

I love this powder so much; when I am fasting, I put it in my black coffee, which I think tastes delicious (personal preference, maybe). I've noticed I feel much better and more focused at work since I started including it. Plus, I take fewer bathroom breaks when I drink plenty of water, which suggests it's doing its job and helping water stay in my system longer. Since it's quite high in sodium, it might not be the best choice for everyone, especially those with high blood pressure. If that's the case, you might want to pick a brand with more potassium instead. I agree with others, it is quite salty, but it is unflavoured electrolytes, so it was as expected. I suggest maybe trying the flavoured kind if you are worried about the taste. I don't often do reviews, but I wanted to as this is brilliant stuff at a good price, especially in the hot weather, and I will be a loyal customer.

I drink electrolytes when I'm dehydrated from exercise or occasionally when I have a headache from not drinking enough water. It quickly gets my body feeling back on track, making that dehydration headache disappear and helping with recovery. This is a huge bag and the dosage is tiny so it will last a long time as long as you aren't drinking this all the time (which you shouldn't be anyway). It's quick to dissolve in water with a shake or a stir. In the current heat wave, having one scoop of this in my bicycle bottle to drink during/after my hour commute feels like a cheat code for recovery and hydration. Electrolytes are mainly salt so it shouldn't surprise anyone that this unflavoured powder tastes salty, which it does. I don't mind the flavour. I certainly prefer it to flavoured electrolytes that mostly have artificial sweeteners which have documented unpleasant side effects and are generally bad for your health.

Using this as I was advised to increase my fluids & my salt intake too for dizziness episodes. 1 scoop per day seems to have done the trick, except for the very hot days when I felt I needed 2 scoops. No "woozys" when standing up now which I've had for years! I mix it in to a 1ltr bottle made up with Vimto in the morning and drink that through the first half of the day, along with other drinks as well (making up to 2.5-3l per day total) Initially tasted the saltiness but honestly, what do people expect from an unflavoured electrolyte that includes sodium? 😅 Soon got used to it, don't really taste the one scoop now, only when I add a second. I will say that I find it doesn't dissolve particularly well, so you need to put it in a bottle and shake a little before drinking IMO rather than in a glass.

I used to buy Bulk's flavoured electrolyte water but when it seemed to stop being stocked I tried this and it's great value for money but for someone who likes to drink from a 2L flask through the day you have to give it a thorough shake each time you drink, which I didn't have to do before. Despite shaking each time I drank from my bottle I'd always find the last maybe 100ml was very silty so I tried pouring it in to a glass and the powder settled rather quickly so that soured my experiance. I haven't noticed as much of a difference as the other Bulk products when drinking this but I'm hardly going to chuck the product for the above, it's just worth noting for those who may get the ick from drinking unexpected textures.

A bit salty but I mix it with different things and it’s fine. Does the job well especially with the heat wave. I can tell when I haven’t had it that day as I’m drinking double the amount of water if I don’t. A great price for the amount. Mixes really well with a good shake and no shaker mixer. Will have to look at finding a different way to store though. I have tiny hands and I struggle to get my hand in and scoop

I am avid prolonged faster. I found product to be quite good, taste wise i f3lt it was like less saltier than table salt. I felt quite revatilize after drinking 2g/500 ml . For the price it seems huge bargain

For a carnivore diet, needed some electrolytes. So if I ever feel tired or if you ever have cramps because of the diet, that means you are missing electrolytes. And this one is without taste which is the best . Warning tho..it is salty 😂 and that 1mg spoon is cute . 🥰 my husband also is using them for gym .

Great product - without any sugar or add-ons. For everyone expecting NO Flavour at all... you must be delusional. Yes of course it has a salty taste. It's salt after all. Just use a pinch in your water and you will be fine. Don't bother with the scoop provided.
