Towelettes - Natural Face, Eyelash & Eyelid Cleanser - Wipes for Demodex, Blepharitis, Mgd and Red Irritated Eye Lid - Tea Tree Oil Extract.

I have rosacea that affects my t-zone, eyebrow area, and eye lid/lashes. There is no cure for rosacea only managing symptoms, so it is important to understand one's triggers. Thanks to menopause, I have to start at ground zero with symptom treatment because what worked before no longer works (due to changes in hormones, estrogen... all things meno lol!). Products I've tried over the past year have been hit or miss, and some of those products have been expensive. The products would work for a week or two, and then I'd flare for no obvious reason. And the flaring would be in the same areas every time. In the past, my rosacea flares were just red patches. After menopause, it became more aggressive, and I started getting small bumps in addition to the redness. You name the rosacea product, and I've likely tried it including prescription ointment. I've been using Cliradex for over a month, and the improvement to my skin has been incredible. I'm not saying Cliradex manages rosacea. I AM saying that it clears up some of the demodex mites that were causing and/or exacerbating my rosacea and blepharitis. The redness has calmed. The small bumps have finally healed and are almost completely gone. My eyes are not as red, and by golly my freaking stubby eyelashes are fuller and longer. My face feels clean! My PM Routine: I wash with a mild cleaner. A couple of times of week I exfoliate with Skinmedica AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser. When my skin is dry, I apply a mild toner and let that set for approx. 10 mins. Next, I use the Cliradex wipes (cut in half) making sure to follow the directions on the box. They do tingle, but I've not experienced the burn that others have. I suggest tightly closing and cleaning one eyelid at a time. Wait close to a minute before opening that eye. You want the product to be completely dry. Repeat for the next eye. I let the Cliradex set for several minutes (at least 20). Then, I apply a night moisturizer (Clinique Moisture Surge). Lastly, after a few mins, I apply Laroche-Posey Double Repair Face Moisturizer. I currently use Cliradex every night but I plan to cut back to every other night soon. Just to see how my skin will react. My AM Routine: Dab my face and eyes with luke warm water to remove any peeling from the previous night's products. Apply the same mild toner. Apply TruSkin Vitamin C Super Serum and let it absorb for about 10 mins. Lastly, I apply Clinique's Moisture Surge SPF cream. If I decide to wear a foundation, I wait 10 to 15 mins to apply it. My thoughts on the Cliradex Towelettes- They smell fine. I'm used to tea tree oil and enjoy the smell. They are thick and well saturated and can be cut in half for longevity. Half is sufficient for my eyes and face, and it makes the product last longer. The towelettes are individually wrapped, making them easy to travel with and use. They could cost twice as much and I'd still consider them a good value for the money because of their effectiveness. It's important to keep in mind that managing rosacea is a lifestyle. Change pillowcases, bedding, and face cloths every couple of days. Learn your triggers (food and drink, cosmetic, environmental, stress, etc.). Wear sunscreen. Adopt a good face cleaning routine and commit to it. It will become tedious, but it is necessary. Make it a habit to not touch your face often. When you do have to touch it, do so with clean hands. Keep a skincare journal to track products and your skins' reaction to those products. You may have to revisit a product during a different season. This product is worth a try. Test a small patch of skin if you are uncertain. Best of luck!

I have struggled with blepharitis and chronic dry eye for about 15 years. I have tried: regular lid scrubs, warm compresses, omega-3 oils, Restasis, antihistamine drops, numerous artificial tear types, and "pulses" of steroid eye drops used for a few weeks every few months. My problems got worse and worse. It became impossible to wear my contacts. My eyelids were red and itchy, my eyes were painful and gritty and gunky. Then I read something about Demodex mites. I suffer also from rosacea and acne and have tried many things, some of which have helped and others not. When I read that people with Demodex have 10x as many mites as normal and tend to have acne, rosacea, and blepharitis, I immediately searched for a product to help me. I read about tea tree oil but was afraid to put the oil on my lids directly. That is very dangerous. I tried this product, which is formulated for the eyelids, instead. BUY THIS NOW if you have a similar story to mine! After just 2-3 weeks of using these every night on my lids, eyebrows, nose, cheeks, and rest of face (in that order -- lids first, then eyebrows, etc...), I am cured. No kidding!! I went from using artificial tears every 10-15 minutes all day every day to using them MAYBE once or twice per day now. My eyes feel amazing. My rigid gas permeable contacts are back in service, and feel just fine. I don't "notice" my eyes at all! Like when I was a kid! I don't need to use warm compresses. No more baby shampoo lid scrubs. No more antibiotic/steroid drops, antihistamine drops, NOTHING. Just wiping with Cliradex at night and leaving it on all night. That's it. It's magic. I'm so, so, so excited. I sound like an infomercial, but I'm that excited. And I am not a corporate plug. Just a really grateful woman who has suffered for years and years and is finally free!!! One small tiny downside -- these hurt and sting terribly. They really do. The first night, I had to sit down on my bathroom floor because my legs were shaking from the pain. I imagine that's the "die off" of a million bacteria and mites exploding as the tea tree oil extract in the wipes hits their disgusting little cells. It hurts. But every day gets a little less painful. Now I only have to take a few deep breaths. And the sting, no matter how severe, only lasts about 1 minute. One REALLY LONG minute, but really, it's just a minute. Then it fades and I don't feel it at all during the night. No problem leaving the residue on there. So I say to anyone who has my problems -- is manning up to one minute a day of pain that gets better every day worth being CURED of the hassle and pain of blepharitis and dry eyes? For me, that's a huge huge YES. I hope these never go out of production. I've already reordered. I want to use 2 wipes per day -- 1 for eyes and eyebrows, and one for face. I'm using 1 wipe now, and I'm focusing on eyes and eyebrows, with cheeks etc as an afterthought. Yet, my rosacea is already looking better, and I haven't had a big pimple since I started. I'm thinking using a fresh wipe on my face will improve the rosacea and breakouts just as much as it improved my eyelids. SO EXCITED about this!! Buy buy buy! UPDATED FEBRUARY 2016: I was asked a few times in the comments if these continue to help me. Yes, they do! I have been using 2 per day (1 eyelids, 1 face) ever since. My eye doctor told me not to stop because the Demodex will simply come back. You cannot get rid of them all, and almost every human has some. So, I faithfully use these wipes every night. They still sting, by the way. Not a ton, but it's definitely still uncomfortable. Again, though, no pain, no gain! My eyes still feel really great using these. I only have to use rewetting drops a few times a day, and mostly if I'm in on over-heated or over-A/C building. No pain, or gunk in my eyes. My skin has cleared up and looks the best it's looked since I was 10 years old. Still highly recommend buying these to try them out if you have dry eye!

These wipe have been killing off my Demodex Mites. I can tell because they have been setting up shop different places around my eyes but then I kill them where they go with the Cliradex wipes. That’s why you need one entire wipe per eye. I close one eye and use the other eye to see what I’m doing. I get one entire towelette and unfold it. I wipe my eyelid and underneath the top lashes and get as many lashes wipes as I can because they’re eating my eyelashes. Then I wipe the side of my eyes, underneath my eyes, and above my eyes up to my eyebrows. Yes, it hurts. But it only hurts for about 30-60 seconds. Don’t rub your eyes or wash the medicine off because you would waste the expensive medicine and it takes less than a minute for the pain to go away. If you think you got medicine in your eyeball, then use a Q-tip to gently wipe in direction of nose on the inner lower eyelid to outer corner. After the tingling, burning, or what ever you want to call it, your eyes actually feel better than when you used the Cliradex. They feel fresh and clean. I think it’s important not to cut the towelette in half because the studies in this research uses one whole towelette per eye. The positive results were received using one whole towelette per eye. You might actually be losing money if you cut the towelette in half because you will get half the good results in a much longer time. After about 60 days, ask your doctor if you can use the towelettes once per day instead of twice per day. Then later, ask if you can use one towelette every other day. These mites have a death cycle and eventually there will be non left. So, keep calling your doctor about every 60 days to see if you can take another fading step down. Regarding the cost, I believe they can get away with it because it’s been proven scientifically to work and has patents. But I might not be able to afford them all the time. I just want to get to the mites’ death cycle and use the wipe every other day or less if my doctor agrees. They are very effective and easy to use. Try to rearrange your budget so you can afford this medication if you have Demodex Mites.

****update**** I used these nightly for about 40 days straight. I have cut down to once every couple weeks and my eyes are still doing great! Dryness symptoms and white build up have not returned. I would like to start out by saying this is the first time I have reviewed anything on Amazon, or any website ever, and I will list every product I have tried. This maybe long and I do apologize, but I want to document everything I have tried in order to help others rule something out. I feel the need to, because I want to help others like others have helped me with their reviews. I started having really bad dry eyes beginning September 2017. I started waking up with dry eyes stuck together, then it got to the point where my eyes were drying out very badly throughout the day. I had a really bad panic attack, thinking my eyes were going to be like this for the rest of my life, because I had googled everything and figured I had gland dysfunction or something else that has no cure. I read post after post on "dry eye zone" and other websites where people are searching for help. Blinking was all I was able to focus on and notice, and studying for school became really difficult. I couldn't wear make up and contacts, which made me even more depressed. The first doctor I went to said he didn't notice any problems with my eyes and sent me home with a sample of Systane eye drops. These didn't help at all. I started Flaxseed and Krill Oil Omega-3 supplements and an eye vitamin, but no noticeable improvements. I went to a second doctor and he diagnosed me with staph blepharitis. He prescribed me two antibiotics, Bacitracin ointment for one month and Moxifloxacin eye drops for 2 weeks. He also recommended Ocusoft lid scrubs. There was a little improvement, but not much. I went to a third doctor, a "dry-eye specialist." He took pictures of my glands and didn't see any issues and basically said the dry eye symptoms I was describing to him didn't match up to what he was seeing, and he didn't see any blepharitis. He prescribed me two weeks of hot compresses. There was a little more improvement, but I still needed drops to get me through the day. I tried Colliodal Silver spray, antibacterial wet wipes, petroleum jelly, castor oil, coconut oil (all things I had read on different websites), none of it worked. I went to my second eye doctor again, desperate for help. He referred me to a 4th doctor. This doctor said he saw a little blepharitis in my eye lashes but didn't know what was causing it. He prescribed me Avenova with Neutrox spray solution twice a day. I started using this on January 10th 2018, but after a few days didn't feel like my eyes were much different, but I used it for a whole 2 weeks, twice a day. I had gotten Cliradex in the mail (which I had put off buying because of the price) and started using them at night before bed, not washing it off and leaving it on my eyes/face over night. Like others have said, they do burn and they did dry out the skin underneath my eye quite a bit, but I started cleansing my face/eyes with alcohol free witch hazel when I wake up to help with the skin irritation. This is my holy grail routine. Cliradex wipe before I go to sleep, alcohol free witch hazel when I wake up (I use thayer's rose petal). I have 7 more Cliradex wipes left, and I have ordered two more boxes because I've read some people saying that they should be used for 6-8 weeks or 60 days, in the case of mites. Not sure if that's what causing my blepharitis/dry eye, but it kind of seems likely to me at this point. I'm hoping I won't have to keep using them for "maintenance" because of the price, but if I do, at least I'll have a solution. I'm truly thankful for finding these. I don't need or use any eye drops whatsoever. My eyes are not dry. And like another reviewer said, I don't think about my eyes or blinking. My heart goes out to those who have had to suffer for years and are still suffering <3 Aside from my eyes drying out, I would get white "flurries" on the tip of my lashes and white build up on the outer corner of my eyes. I have attached a picture, just in case it could help someone. I wish everyone well <3

I got these for my dad for the treatment of the Blepharitis. He is 95 year's old and he had been complaining about his eyes watering and felt like sand was in them. I took him to his eye doctor that he has been using for over 50 year's and didn't do anything for him. My dad still was complaining so I told him, we were going to go and get a second opinion. I called my eye doctor and they were happy to help. My dad had eye dandruff on the left eye worse then the right side. They put him on Cliradex towels and they do the job. They do have a strong smell to them when you open the package. My dad did say his eyes burned a little after using them but I don't know if it because he had it so bad. The texture is smooth, the moisturizing is great. The towelette takes care of both eyes. Just got to remember to flip the towelette over or you will not have enough for a months worth. The towelettes do come in a box but they are also in a package. So, I had to help my dad when he needed the package open but he is 95 and his hands don't work like they use too. That is one thing to think about if you are helping a Senior person out. The towelettes are not that big but big enough to do the job of wiping the top and bottom of the eye lash. My dad does not complain about his eyes anymore so we are thankful for that.

I use these as they are intended, on my lash line as well as on my eyebrows. The towels themselves are very small and soft, and easy to use but boy are they mighty. This stuff stings and burns for about 3 minutes after you've wiped it on, so be prepared to not be able to open your eyes for a bit. Fanning your face lightly with your hands will help though.

I bought Cliradex foam and Cliradex wipes for treatment of demodex, which were diagnosed by an opthamologist. I chose to try this product for a couple of reasons: #1 is because the prescription my doctor wanted me to use costs thousands of dollars and there was minimal co-payment assistance available to me with my insturance. #2 reason is there are so many positive reviews here for the product. Usually I can safely base my purchases on Amazon from the large number of positive reviews. However, that did not work in this case. Let me explain. I used the product as directed for 6-8 weeks. I started using it 3x per day for about 4-5 weeks, then cut back to 2x per day, then 1 x per day for the last week. When I returned to the opthamologist for a follow-up exam to see if demodex were gone, they were not, There was no change at all, which I saw for myself in the photos taken at the exam with some type of microscope camera or some such aparatus. The doctor told me that so many of his patients tried this product and it did not work at all, or very minimally, but did not eliminate the demodex completely nor permanently. Doctor said even when he treated patients himself at his office with this product, there was no complete or lastiing effect. When I asked the doctor if demodex are common in people, he said, "Yes, very common." Dr. said at this time the only treatment he knows of that can completely eliminate demodex is the one prescription drug he told me about that is ridiculously expensive. I did not experience any eye or other symptoms prior to my finding out about the demodex from the doctor, and I still do not experience any symptoms or have any other eye issues at this time. It seems, from my limited research, that demodex are very common and naturally occurring in humans. As long as there are no adverse effects or eye issues from them, then we all just live with them. (We are mammals after all). Bottom line, this product, in my experience, has very little or no effect at all in eliminating naturally occurring demodex from eye/eyelashes. Purchase at your own discretion. I would never recommend spending money to use Cliradex (wipes or foam) for eliminating demodex issues. It may work very well for other types of eye issues or treatment needs but I only have experience using it for demodex. Try it if you must, but I would not waste the money.

Very good product. It burns a bit but works very well. I would recommend
