Best book yet! - Tempted is an absolutely captivating installment in the House of Night series that I couldn't put down for a second. From start to finish, this book had me completely hooked, and it’s easily one of the most gripping entries in the series that I have read so far. I thought I loved the fifth book until I read this book. What makes Tempted stand out is the way it’s written. The narrative is so fresh and different, with a unique twist on the familiar style we’ve come to know and love from the House of Night books. The pacing, the emotional depth, and the rich character development create an unforgettable reading experience. It feels like a bold shift that adds layers to the series and keeps the story moving in unexpected directions. But the real shocker comes at the end. The twist will break your heart in a way that’s hard to describe—one of those gut-wrenching moments that make you want to scream, cry, and maybe throw the book across the room. It’s painful, raw, and totally unexpected, yet it pulls you in even more. You’ll be left with a mix of heartbreak and an overwhelming desire to know what happens next. The emotions this twist stirs up are intense, and it’ll have you reflecting on the book long after you've finished reading. If you're a fan of House of Night, this book will definitely not disappoint. It’s full of heart, suspense, and a shocking, emotional conclusion that will make you both want to scream and dive right back into the series. Review: Good Book! - I had been listening to the audiobooks because given my schedule it is easier for me. I don’t much have time to sit and read these days. When I made it to this book, I couldn’t bear to listen. There is a couple different narrators from Marked all the way to Hunted. Of course the change in narrator threw me off but they were easy to adjust to. This books narrator....honestly, unbearable. I tried a few times to listen to the sample to see if I could get used to her and I just couldn’t. There was no voice differentiation between characters so everyone sounded the same. The narrator sounds like a whiny child, maybe 10 years old? I’ve read many reviews stating the same thing, but I had to see for myself. I ended up buying the kindle version and trying my best to make time to read, which took me a while but was worth it. I even highlighted part of the text and would let the robotic monotone translator read part of the story so I could listen and work at the same time, lol. I found the robotic translator more bearable than whoever they hired to narrate the story. Anyways, still a good book! Great series. I am looking forward to listening or reading the next book.

True enjoyment, Keeps getting better
By far the best in this wonderful series so far, laugh out loud, while heartfelt, a bit scary and adventurous among the many mysteries twists and turns with just the right amount of romance and heartbreak. Truly unpredictable. First book in the series to really see through the eyes of different characters not just the main. This one has the same feel but a whole different level of story telling. I gave every book in the series 5 stars so far wishing now there were more stars to show the difference in overall author skill level and my enjoyment of the book. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Big Thank you to the author for writing this.

It took me a little while to process this book before I could review it. The book starts off right where the last one left off and deals with the aftermath of the events that occurred. This one didn't waste as much time recapping things, which I liked, and the chapters focused on various characters. The book kept my interest the whole time, especially the last few chapters. I'm happy that Zoey (Spoiler alert) finally broke up with Erik. He's annoying. I really loved the character Heath in this book. The fact that he's completely human, yet is willing to help Zoey and her friends fight, is really cool. The readers get to see a lot more of his thoughts and feelings in this book, which makes it sadder. I also like Stark's character and I think he's good for Zoey. I got annoyed with Stevie Rae in this one. She keeps making stupid decisions and doesn't seem to care about the consequences. She hides things from her friends, uses her Earth affinity selfishly and is starting to get like Zoey with the multiple boyfriends. She's sort of at 3. Just pick one already, people! One of the other things that annoyed me was that the authors replaced the word "love" with "heart" in this one. I think it would've been ok a few times, but they hearted everything. There are two deaths in this one, so it's one of the saddest books in the series so far (for me anyway). I was reading on the bus when the second one happened and I gasped, causing another passenger to ask if I was ok. I felt kind of silly explaining that it was because of the book, but I get really into things when I read.

this is the book that the series starts getting better, the boy problems simmer to contentment or close as she is likely to get...clearly talking about zoey here. And the story actually begins to get interesting. Ive been buying this series ceap from amazon as im all to aware of the authors main intent on getting money from the readers -by writing about nothing then adding a tad of something you want to know about near the end- and im reading through them quickly and in this one they are just having a break from war, but i think the purpose of this book that many call a filler is to patch up zoeys personal life so she can develop more as a character, which she does. I absolutly love stevie rea and rephaims parts in the series from here on out and even if main character zoey is a boring no fun priestess stevie rae and stark and lets not forget aphrodite pull out a few comments to get a smile across my face like a dork. Unlike many reviews of this book i disagree with zoey being immature and slutty, she is finally making the right choices and showing a bit of back bone towards people. and i just cant understand why you wouldnt like stevie rea's chapters, they make the book worth the read being all dark and mysterious with the raven mocker she has befriended. even if you skim read zoeys parts to get to them!

Ich habe dieses Buch bereits auf Deutsch gelesen und fande es sehr gut. Es ist eine sehr leicht zu lesende Geschichte. Auf Englisch ist dies allerdings für mich nicht so leicht...
