its only £49 and real wood where do you start, deliverd sharpish in one box putting it together, takes some time as its full assemble , every piece needs to be put together, its proper self assemble stuff, went together better than expected for what it cost, some wood glue is worth using for some extra strength if your not looking to take it apart again once together it feels fairly solid, may need retightening in a few months time but thats a 5 minute job looks the part in white and looks more than £49 worth and is quite solid but i wouldnt want to jump up and down on the matress it does mark up quite easy being white when putting it together so take your time and be careful again for £49 i dont think you can complain

I ordered one of these and put it together by myself. The allan key provided went blunt after the third screw, so I had to raid my husband's tool box for another. Once put together it was creaky and felt like it was going to break whenever I sat on it. I very nearly returned it, until my husband pulled out the electric screwdriver and tightened all the screws, no more creaks and felt completely solid. Took 2 hours to do the first on my own, when I ordered a second one it took about 30 mins for me and my husband to do together. Well packaged and instructions easy to follow. Beautiful looking bed with a gorgeous finish, but not completely without flaws. The slats in the headboard and footboard are slightly short, and the mattress slats are thin, and are smaller pieces joined together to make longer pieces, making me wonder how long these will last. They're also unfinished so beware of splinters and catches the fabric of the mattress when sliding it on and off. Would have given 5 stars if not for those two flaws.

The bed arrived earlier than expected which was a nice surprise, we waited for the weekend to set the bed up not knowing that the wood was damaged inside the packaging. We had already taken down my daughters cot to make space to assemble the bed but after discovering that there was damaged parts we decided to wait for a response from the company. After a complaint they asked which parts were damaged and sent out replacements. Upon receiving the replacement parts they were actually in worse condition than the ones we had originally been sent. After messaging the company again (you would assume that these replacement parts would have been thoroughly checked before sending out) to which I had a response of “we can give you 10% refund” as this went on over a period of 2 to 3 weeks we gave in and put the bed up as my daughter was temporarily in a travel cot (which isn’t ideal at all) the bed is up and does look okay and seems to be sturdy for the time being but unfortunately it looks a mess because of the damaged wood. do not recommend! Awful customer service. When reading item description it states ‘ High quality‘ and ‘ smooth white wood‘ it is neither of these and I am yet to find out if it’s ‘sturdy’ enough to last

For the money im impressed, good solid bed the paintwork was a bit chipped and the slats could have been better but overall good for a kids bedroom you pay for what you get i suppose
