Touch of Grey

Never used hair dye in my life and looking at the nightmare scenario of my wife dyeing her hair once a month I never felt inclined to. Over a period of time my hair has gone silver grey right around the edges and fringe with a mixture of flecks of grey amongst the darker hair that I have left, because of this large band of grey around the edges which looks nuts I decided to tone it down a bit and after much pondering I decided to give touch of grey a try.........I use very little of this and use it on the brightest band of grey and the results are brilliant...up to now I have used it three times and it tones down lots of grey but it leaves the sides more or less the same, it takes less than a minute to comb in and after five minutes I shampoo it off and the results are great.....my mates haven't a clue I am using anything which is a great plus and I look quite a bit younger now... anyone looking to just tone down the grey will not be disappointed....

Overall good product, but 4 stars as it just doesn’t last long . Max 8days . And you have to redo again to get the salt and pepper look again

1. My barber recommended it and I wish he had done it earlier. 2. No one notices it - unlike the others where you either go from 'white' hair' to the 'black hair.' This is really subtle. Even my wife has not picked up on it. 3. Easy to apply. I have a military 'flat top,' and hence, the tube does for two [2] applications. 4. Instructions state that you use the supplied 'plastic gloves' to 'apply.' Don't bother - the product does not 'stain' your hands making it easier to massage it thoroughly through your hair. 5. Is there a negative? A wee one. You need to apply [repeat] it every couple of weeks and it's not that cheap. That said: as I am a 'guy' I don't spend, as my wife does, a fortune on 'makeup!'

Not as effective as it used to be, same as some other reviews. Touch of Grey may have changed the ingredients or simply old stock as many places seemed to have discontinued it. Arrived quickly with Amazon. Don't need Amazon Prime but it gets pushed at the customer too much.

Did nothing for me. Applied for the recommended time with no results. Then applied again for 15 mins. My hair is exactly the same colour after both treatments.

No itching maybe a little too much colour but is a pepper effect

Easy, quick and gives a good colour which looks natural and not uniform darkening the dark hairs and maintaining just the right amount of grey.

Good product that comb in, and wait 5 mins before washing it out... simple. Covers very well (mine med brown) and dampens down grey sides and hair line well. After about 3 weeks it is very very slightly coppery where the grey was but not to the extent that people would notice. When hair is cut again, get home and apply again as new shoots of grey are visible again! Unused dye can be applied again but I find it's not as effective so always now ensure a new box is to hand. Knocks spots off Just for Men which is too rich coloured and tends to go a noticeable ginger after a week or so.

I bought this product a lot off times. It USED to be a good product. last three times I used it, the color it gave my hair isn't grey but brown.! I will try an other brand now.

Sono di mezza età, ho i capelli completamente bianchi e vorrei ottenere un grigio non freddo, o un marrone cenere brizzolato, non tingerli in maniera evidente. Usavo Control GX ma si è rivelato poco efficace sul bianco anche dopo molte applicazioni. Questo prodotto copre già dalla prima applicazione. Unica pecca, il colore nero, sul bianco, da riflessi leggermente violacei e poco naturali. Probabilmente va meglio per chi è naturalmente nero brizzolato. Proverò il marrone scuro più in la, o proverò ad alternarli. Per capelli bianchi ci sono poche alternative, per questo do cmq 5 stelle.
