Worth the smell!
Absolutely amazing product. Went from blonde to a dark brown and this lifted it beautifully to a perfect caramel more suited to my natural brunette. Over the moon!!!! One bottle was fine for my thick medium length hair highly recommend

Save yourself the time and money
Doesn't work! Smells awful! Bad for your skin! My hair is dark blonde/mousey brown and dyed it a dark chocolate colour. 6 weeks later, I wanted it gone. Used 2 bottles of this to remove, the only thing it did was make it brassy. No lift whatsoever. Takes forever if you follow the instructions. Total rinse time for my hair was 40 minutes! My neck and arms were killing me by the end of it. From the looks of previous reviews, it only works if you have recently dyed hair before the colour has had time to settle into your hair follicles. It is WAY too expensive for it not to work. Just go to a hairdresser, as you'd end up spending the same amount to get box dye out at home anyway. You also can't get a refund due to the product being faulty/not working. AWFUL. All round bad experience. Save the time and effort, just go to a hairdressers

Quality stuff will be buying more to get the colour i need. hair isn’t dead after first use unlike bleach. Be warned tho it smells very bad even after washing 🪦 before and after photos (hair was blue black before now a redish brown. The green is from prev hair dye.)

Works well for red hair!
This worked so well! I had direct dye on my hair and didn’t realise this is for dye that’s been mixed with peroxide but thought oh well might as well try. I had adore fruit punch which made my hair a bright pinky red colour and it was not cute lol. This got me from that to a yellowy colour. the smell is horrendous tho

GOT RID OF ALL MY RED VIOLET HAIR COLOUR
Worked amazingly for my hair as you will see from the photos! I had red violet hair that had dye build up, and it mamaged to get rid of most of the colour 👏🏼 This didn't bleach my hair, the colour I'm left with was the colour I was before I added the permanent red and Igora L-89 mixture. I do still have splashes of colour throughout my hair, and the ends are still quite warm in colour, so I think another box will help get most of the colour out, but other than that I am honestly happy with the end results

Removed some colour
The underneath of my hair was faded black permed box dye with a red deposit only dye over the top. The top was bleached blonde with the same red dye over it. Color oops stripped most of the deposit only dye despite the instructions saying that it doesn't. It left a few stripes of red, mainly over the bleached parts. The black dye faded to a dark brown but requires further lightening with bleach to blend it in with the lighter sections. The process of rinsing was atrocious. I lost a lot of hair and almost passed out from the continous heat. I'd definitely never subject myself to that process again. Overall I've now got a decent base for a lighter colour which is what I wanted. But I absolutely wouldn't have been able to get a nice even colour result from this product alone.

From violet to ginger/honey/ caramel
What can I say other than it worked amazing!! I decided I wanted to go back to my strawberry blond/honey caramel color I had about 10 years ago. I used to mix 3 colors to get that color myself hence I did go to beauty school awhile back. However I am American living in the uk and used to use clairol soyplex and mix 3 colors for a stunning color. They don’t sell that brand here so I had chat gpt convert my 3 amazing colors and what a disaster. My strawberry hair went from that to an ugly mahogany violet not that there’s anything wrong with that but that’s not what I was going for. I was devastated beyond belief and was very worried to try Color oops. I have an appointment with the hairdresser today to match my roots, however after using color oops I did get a-strawberry color from that ugly mahogany violet not that there’s anything wrong with that but that’s not what I was going for. I was devastated beyond belief and was very worried to try Color oops I have an appointment with the hairdresser today to match my roots however after using I did get a beautiful ginger colour and sort of the colour that I was looking to get in the first place. Yay for color oops. I will say I worked it into my hair quite fast. I do have a good amount of gray on my roots so I believe that’s why it lifted so much plus I did use a hairdryer to warm it up a bit bc my house is so cold. I also wrapped my hair in plastic wrap and then a towel over that. I believe I read don’t do that and maybe this is the reason why. Nonetheless I am happy with the color and only wanting to change the roots to make them richer looking. I also did rinse my hair for a good 15 min after washing it, I also washed again 4 more times and then issued a protein conditioner and left on for 25 min and then blew dry my hair and it came beautifully. I uploaded pics not in order sorry but I think you can tell which is which. Also not a terrible smell and well worth the money. Jobaz sounded scary and smelly. This was amazing.

Did not work sadly
I originally got this because I saw review saying this works on red hair but Personally did not work for me, my ends are a fuchsia colour , and there was no lift at all, even on my roots which were dark and faded.

I liked that it worked as promised, removing my old build-up of hair colour from many years of dyeing.

Ok I'm generally a review reader, not writer. This product saved my hair. I have waist length blonde hair starting to go white. I decided to embrace it and have spent the last couple of months trying to achieve that, so after bleaching, toning, etc I ended up with purple hair after toning with a silver hue. I have spent the last week trying to vet rid of pink and purple. I used vinegar rinse and then tried baking soda wash. I didn't want to use any more bleach or harsh products as my hair was getting incredibly dry even after using conditioner between every step. So after doing research on Color OOPS. The reviews were mixed, they reflected a really unbearable smell, tough to rinse and being very drying. Bit the bullet and purchased. I am ecstatic. The smell was absolutely no issue. None. The product started working immediately. I ened up keeping it on for about 15 min. No burning or scalp issues. Just was doing an awesome job removing silver box dye. My hair is now a very light blond and actually feels great. I shampooed twice in between rinses and did a good conditioner on final rinse. It is important to thoroughly rinse. Though it's probably the most strenuous , rinse it thoroughly! My hair is softer and feels better than it has in a month. If you are on the fence, jump off. I wish I had done this right away, rather than using the baking soda and or vinegar.

Great for semi permenant hair colors. After watching some AKA Asilinn videos on her color testing and removal i realised bleached based color remover wasn't ideal for the product i was using and gave this a go instead and it worked perfectly. But if you're sensitive to smells this isn't for you because it has a very strong rotten egg smell to it, kinda like perm solution. But it works really well on a lot of semi permenants! Even splat
