Excellent loppers at an even better price. My father in law recommended these after we borrowed his to cut back smaller trees in the garden. They are easy to use. Can be extended to reach higher branches and cut cleanly through branches 3-4cm thick. Lightweight enough for me to use them comfortably all day while not compromising on efficiency or duraity. Rachet mechanism aims smooth movement and power. Good size and very durable. I'm really impressed and have offered to buy my dad the same loppers. Easily the best version we have had and amazingly the cheapest.

I am a pensioner without much strength and these have enabled me to lop and chop easily. They are nice and sharp and I would definitely recommend.

I am impressed with the cutting ability of these loppers. I was easily able to trim back small branches and very thick brambles, and they extended with no problem. They are, however, pretty heavy, especially when you have to hold them above your head for any length of time. But good quality and do a good job.

Best loppers I’ve ever owned. Cuts through thick branches with ease. Ratchet effect on thicker branches is excellent. I suffer with weakness in my wrists at intervals and this was still easy enough to do without strain. Adjustable length handles are easy to use and still feel very sturdy when at full length. Spear & Jackson 8100RS Razorsharp Telescopic Ratchet Anvil Lopper I don't write too many reviews, but I was so impressed with these loppers that I felt I must make the effort to do so. I read other reviews before ordering and hoped that the tool would be as good as many people said - and it was!... MUCH better than I expected. It really is sharp, and that, together with the ratchet, makes cutting through branches (up to AT LEAST an inch thick) a doddle. Branches that previously I'd have used my pruning saw to cut through were dealt with effortlessly by these loppers. My first job was to cut down shrubbery branches that were overhanging the street, some quite thick and many quite high - and normally I'd need a step ladder (and pruning saw) to deal with these. So here came the test for the extension capability of these loppers. No problem - cut down with ease and no step ladder needed. After about fifteen to twenty minutes work, I admired my huge pile of chopped down branches (thick and thin). The biggest job was clearing away the pile afterwards. Now I've read in some reviews that these loppers were heavy; well I'm a lady of 'a certain age' and I had no problem with the weight. I would admit it made my arms ache just a bit when reaching up to cut, but that would apply to anything if reaching up for more than a few minutes. I'd go so far to say it was actually a pleasure to use this tool, saving both time and effort. Done a couple of jobs with it now, and more to do. Finally I would add that the loppers are sturdy and robust and I hope they will stand the test of time. If they don't I will update this review.

Fantastic loppers made my job so easy! The ratchet style made it feel like cutting through butter. They are durable and have a good solid build. I did a lot of cutting off branches from 15ft and 10ft fern trees, which I believe are made of dense wood. I found it comfortable to hold, and there was no hand strain at all. All branches were also cut into smaller pieces for the tun bag, so they had a good workout. The handle extension lock is solid too.

At first I loved them, however the first time I used the extension legs to cut a bigger branch, the arms bent. Still useable just had to buy a better quality pair.

ottimo prodotto ed aun costo irrisorio.... robusto nel materiale e di uobna fattura. Le cesoie presentano i manici in alluminio con impugnatura gommata antiscivolo per una presa sicura ... sono pure telescopici permettendo di arrivare anche ad una certa distanza di taglio .il meccanismo a crichetto si innesta in automatico permettendo di tagliare nettamente rami anche di considerevole diametro senza sforzo resta il fatto che dpbbiamo allargare al max le cesoie e non sempre si ha lo spazio necessario. La lama presenta un rivestimento scuro in teflon per diminuire l'abrasione e renderla piu' resistente alla ruggine....ovvio che tutto il meccanismo va oliato e richiede un minimo di manutenzione che pero' oltre all'oliatura no va . Il peso per quello che ho potuto constatare non influisce sulla qualita' e precisione del tagio.....e' irrilevante nel contesto sono un ottimo attrezzo consigloiato per piccoli e medi tagli di rami e potatura...

Een van de weinige bypass takkenscharen met ratel. De ratel zorgt ervoor dat je makkelijker tussen andere takken in kan knippen, bypass is nodig om vers hout zo min mogelijk te beschadigen. Goed scherp en af-fabriek goed afgesteld. Telescoopvergrendeling lijkt het beste van wat ik tot nu toe heb gezien. Onderhoud: veeg het snijvlak telkens na gebruik goed schoon en droog tegen roest, vooral het scherp van het mes; en mocht er ergens speling komen, stel dat dan meteen bij, evt somt een drupje olie, dan zal je volgens mij lang plezier kunnen hebben van deze schaar.
