Groov-e Retro Boombox CD Player with Cassette, FM Radio Tuner, 3.5mm AUX in Socket for Smartphones & LED Display - Black

Arrived following day after ordered via Royal Mail and was well packaged, despatched on day of order, Friday. Brilliant replacement for my old broken 90’s player, lovely playing my cassettes and CDs again. Works exactly like my old one but with additional socket for headphones and socket to attach smartphone for my other stored music ( that hasn’t been tested yet as an adaptor needed ). Pleased with sound quality and volume levels, looking forward to using in garden in the summer with the battery option.

A very high quality purchase; needed a boombox/stereo to replace my old one, (as the tape recorder had stopped working on it), and this one does the job perfectly; it's compact and fits nicely in the corner of my kitchen. The silver/chrome colour is clean and fresh looking; blends in with the colours in my kitchen currently. This boombox is also really easy to manoeuvre, as it's not too heavy and can be placed almost anywhere/transferred easily to different rooms whilst still playing. The features (tape recorder/CD player) are all easy to use and you don't have to wait to record/playback your tracks, which is very efficient, and convenient, as some other ones pause in the middle of a track. I haven't experienced any negatives of this stereo/cassette recorder yet, so would definitely recommend, (as it's also a great price at £35).

I’m absolutely in love with this retro CD player. I have cassettes from my adolescence and it brings me back to the 90s.

This was purchased as a Christmas git. It arrived in good time. It was easy to use, you have the choice of the radio, cassettes or CD's, and sound quality is good. It is available in black, silver or red. My Mother in law is really happy with it, and couldn't wait to show us how easy it is to use when we had our video call. Very happy, would recommend

Bought as a kitchen radio to replace another make that had a fault on the CD player. Good points Has a tape player, which is rare these days Has an aux port so you can plug an mp3 player into it - set the player to cd and then plug the mp3 player in at the back. Thus is a 'dumb' socket, you cannot control the MP3 with the Boombox. You can set the volume on the Boombox, Sounds rather good for the price, nice treble and the base is not too hollow for a plastic unit. (See below for volume issue) Bad points Suspect build quality. We had to send the first one back as we could not tune the radio at all. This one is OK, but the tuner is stiff as you move up the frequencies and the pointer will actually move backwards slightly near the end of its travel. Tuning down the scale is fine. The radio does stay tuned but it can be a bit of a fiddle to get tuned and you probably would not get a station right at the end of the dial as the pointer moves back. Not very powerful. It sounds Ok and there is no distortion at full 'volume' however full volume is not very full. It's fine for a kitchen but be aware if you like or need more power. There is no headphone socket. Other stuff. There is no Dolby on the tape (is there ever now?) The plastic is a bit brittle feeling. You can't deform it but it just feels as cheep as it is. The tape has a soft (ie slow) eject All the controls are on the top with the exception of the radio tuner (right side near the back) and the aux port (at the back).

Hello if you're there ... Really nice product, but nevermind as the repeat for CD doesn't work which on my one is a shame, I've tried everything and even my little cat helped. I'd ask to swap if I could but don't know how as too old for this modern technology world we happily live in, I was pleased too have managed to order something! Es pequeño pero tiene lo necesario para mi, CD , radio y Casettes. Se oye muy bien y como tiene asa lo puedo transportar cómodamente .

This is a UK CD Player, which is not made clear. Since I live in the US, I have to return it, and I have to pay the shipping.

I dislike this product as it arrived with the lid to the cd was adrift & broken. You should replace it.
