**Q: Will this syringe be ok to fill a car gearbox  with oil..   I want a Syringe that can be used to fill a gearbox with new oil...  Thank you.**
A: That is exactly what I bought it for. It makes very easy work of re-filling gearboxes, and allows you to do it from underneath instaed of having to try and get the vehicle level whilst jacking one side up and removing wheeel and inner shield. I use it from underneath with the vehicle on ramps with just the belly shield off on both cars and vans. Great piece of kit. Just have cloth infront when sucking new oil in from bottle as can make a little mess. Do not use for extracting unless you want to ruin it. Clean oil only. Has saved me a fortune in expensive mechanics that only break things anyway, costing me even more money. If you want a job done properly..do it yourself!

**Q: can this be used with petrol ?**
A: No this cannot be used with Petrol, just oil.

**Q: Whats the external diameter of pipe**
A: The diameter of the pipe is 12mm

**Q: Is hose detachable? and is material safe for cosmetic use (dispense skincare product) ?**
A: Hose is detachable but this is a device for the workshop. The rubber seals on the piston are a tight fit and need some force to move them, I don't think it would be convenient to use for skin care products.

There are skin care products that come in pump action dispensers that would work much better.

Unscrew the top, fill with oil and it works very well. I pre-warmed my axle and gearbox oil and that really made dispensing super easy. Great product.

Bought this item to assist with oil change and stale fuel extraction when servicing my garden motor mower. There are numerous slightly cheaper options on the market but this particular item is sturdy, well packaged and maintains suction for controlled liquid extraction. Oil extraction is a little more challenging due to its viscosity and requires a little more arm strength than thinner liquids but still works well. Overall it is good value and a necessary accessory for awkward oil and fuel draining requirements. Would recommend.

I used this on my friends ride on mower to change the engine oil .Its tube was to wide to go into the engine threw the mowers small filler so luckily made a small extension tube with a plastic straw. The suction was very good and made me look a pro in front of my mate.i would say you would get a good 10 or more uses out of it or would be good as a once a season clean oil removal toolIts a good price but as they say in the instructions its meant for gearboxes and stuff with big access holes its also pretty big and it sucks half a litre at a timeGreat for the price
