The exfoliating bits leave my soap dish really messy but the smell and longevity of the soap makes up for it.

But as it has some significantly harder particles, it is not particularly smooth

The soap is heavy! It’s four times milled, that means it’s dense. The effect is that it feels gritty to touch, but those are tiny hard soap particles break up into suds slowly. Beautiful lather when you take it slowly. When you lather up, it’s a lovely, soft sensation. A new soap is too big to fit into a standard soap case, but no problem. After a couple of months, when it’s fits into the soap case, it’s perfect for traveling if you like this very special soap. I would not recommend for children as it’s painful if the soap particles get in the eyes before they burst into lather.

I have been using this brand of soap for years. I just love it and all of the scents that are offered. This particular bar has a subtle sweety/nutty smell and is like a loofah soap with built in grit. It's a little bit like filing off your dead skin, personally I love that but for people with sensitive skin it might be too much. Also, it is a bit of a pricier soap, but I find that it lasts a long time so for me it's worth it. And I shower every day and don't share it.

I was living on the streets in the sweltering heat of Tucson, Arizona. I was homeless, friendless, and had given up all hope of ever digging myself out of this seemingly endless pit of despair. My clothes had begun to burn away from the combination of sweat and drugs seeping through my pores. I had been searching for a job for months, but most places would not even allow me into the building due to my stench, much less provide me with an interview. One day, as I was digging through the dumpster searching for my next meal I came across this peculiar looking bar of soap. The smell put me into a trance, and I couldn’t help but strip down and start rubbing it all over my naked body. The smell was a strange mix of puppy kisses and angelic trumpets. I immediately felt like a new person. I walked directly into the accounting firm next door and was immediately offered a job. I am now married to the love of my life and run an orphanage on my private island where I can share my love of this soap with my many children. 10/10 - would recommend.
