My husband was sceptical that they would work, I put a few up in the wardrobe for jackets. I told him that if we didn't like them then they pulled off again. They were very easy to use; it says on the packet to clean the wall space with rubbing alcohol, this is not something we had, however I cleaned the wall with hand sanitizer (which is alcohol) and that worked great. While I was out my husband decided he wanted to move the hooks, so he pulled them off. Literally yanked them off the wall, it took a lot of force, and took a chunk of wall with them, so this proves how strong they are! Had he waited until I got home I could have showed him how to remove them properly, they come of easy, no force, no marks & no hole in the wall!
