I’ve tried my other heating pad that I have, but they never seemed to stay in place so when I found this belted version of a heating pad that went around your waist. I thought I’d give it a try. It worked out wonderfully! It comes with a wide belt that attaches via Velcro and keeps the heating pad in its place. It has a maximum temperature of 159°, which is very comfortable and I noticed it feels very warm when I have it on and sitting in my recliner, it also comes with a vibration feature, which is not to be mistaken with a typical massager. that you can buy. Those have those little balls in it that knead your body. This is more of a vibration buzzing type situation it buzzes for 1 to 4 seconds and then stops and then repeats for about 10 or 15 minutes. It feels wonderful. The noise that it makes at first is a bit annoying but after a few minutes, it’s barely noticeable to me. I can’t say enough good things about this massaging heating pad belt by UTK it does what it says it does and remarkably after only a couple of days, it has relieved much of my pain so I would highly recommend it to anyone who has lower back pain and gets frustrated with heating pads that just don’t stay in the right place. Review: Excellent Product for Pain Management if Heat Offers You Relief - I've purchased two of these UTK Heating Pad with Vibration Massage for Lower Back for loved ones that suffer from arthritis. That's how good these are. One has psoriatic arthritis, and the other is older and has arthritis and spine degeneration. I'm saying this so you can compare your issues with my purchase use and subsequent feedback and decide how it applies to you and your situation, which is what I did. This isn't my first UTK product, because the Infrared Heat is a game changer since it gets the heat deeper into the pain points. Yes these products are a bit expensive but not compared to some other Infrared solutions I've found. I'm on a budget, and I don't have room to throw money away on things that don't work. My experience with UTK products is that they are very effective where heat can be helpful in managing pain. The stones help hold, distribute, and push the heat deeper in a comforting way. The other UTK large heating pad products are absolutely awesome, but can be heavy for elderly hands depending on the size, and are not highly portable. This belt is a manageable weight and far more portable. It can easily fit in luggage for travel. The trade with the larger size is that it doesn't have quite the coverage as one of the big pads, but the coverage is still good. I love the fact that this product comes in the XL belt size to accommodate anyone, which has also meant it can be used in other ways like across the shoulders. I think the massager is a nice touch and worth the extra spend. You don't have to use it with the heat if you choose not to, but it does help with the soothing effect and it is nice to have. The massage function feels like a soft vibration, and when you are in pain it is just enough to get relief but not hurt from it. I've read some of the UTK reviews for other products that are negative. Other than feedback about defective product issues (which I have not experienced), I have to say this isn't necessarily a casual heating solution. In my house we see it more as a therapy tool, and we treat these UTK products with care - keeping them clean and put up when not in use. So far they have held up wonderfully with consistent use. When your day is rough it can help keep your pain from escalating. But you must be aware of how you are using it, because it can get very hot. For my loved ones, it provides non medicinal relief without side effects, and you can't put a price on that. ## Features - 【5X Pain Relief Far Infrared Heating Pad】Unlike other heating pads. I'm very disappointed with this product. For the price, the functions are very limited. this item should cost no more than $40.00 the heating mechanism is fine, however, by no means is this product similar to a tens unit. The product offers a large wide belt but other than that, I've tried cheaper products that do the same job. This product is totally overpriced. **Q: What are the dimensions of only the heated area?** A: It's around 10 X 12 **Q: can u sit against chair back when wearing ?** A: Yes, you can sit in a chair or couch while using the pad. **Q: Instructions for setting the heating needed. The pad not heating up.** A: Touch the on off button, then push the temp button on the top. There is a temp up and a temp down button. I usually set it at 115 to 120 and put it over a shirt or towel and not directly on the skin. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heat, Vibration Stays in place Pain gone *by M***N on March 19, 2026* I have had some lower back pain for the last two or three weeks and nothing seems to have worked. Its a little pricey, but I like it ^_^ its comfortable and has a really good heat range, plus the cord is super long (can be a good or bad thing depending on the person, but I like it). ## Frequently Bought Together - UTK Far Infrared Vibrating Heating Pad with Vibration Massage for Lower Back Pain. 3 Vibration Modes, Smart Controller, Hot Enough (103℉-159℉)，Back Pain Relief,S-XXXXL - UTK Heating Pad for Back, Far Infrared Natural Jade and Tourmaline Heating Pad, Smart Controller with Memory Function, Auto Shut Off and Travel Bag Included, Small Pro (23.5 inches X 16 inches) - UTK Heating Pad for Neck and Shoulder, Natural Jade and Tourmaline Stones, Auto Shut Off, Memory Function,Temperature Adjustable (Size 23.2" X17.7'') --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/494047271-massage-far-infrared-heating-pad-for-back-pain-relief](https://www.desertcart.is/products/494047271-massage-far-infrared-heating-pad-for-back-pain-relief) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
