Excellent for my cat and dog. I bought this for my cat initially as he was due to have an operation on his back & was informed by the vet that he would have to wear a collar or a body suit! I had no idea that these even existed!! It done the job perfectly & his wound has healed now without any infections & without any stress, I think he liked the suit really!! Double great value for me as my Yorkshire terrier who has a skin allergy has been wearing it since! She was driving herself & me mad constantly biting her back, but not anymore thanks to Simply Vets. She loves wearing the recovery suit..it stops her biting; keeps her warm & her hair is growing back too! Fantastic!

After her operation, my cat kept pulling the 'cone of shame' off, so I went online and ordered this product. This cat vest is useless - do not buy it. It is badly made, with poor design and stitching, and trying to get my cat's head and legs through it resulted in nothing but a very stressed out cat, and owners with scratched bleeding hands and arms. The minimal instructions given are useless, and must have been produced by an idiot. In the end we had to take a best guess about to how to get it onto the cat - and this looked like it was going to cover her poop and pee holes anyway. Once you get the cat's head through what is probably the head-hole, it is very difficult to get their front legs through the leg-holes, and my cat hissed and wailed, and there was such a risk that her operation stitches would come undone during the struggle, we had to give up. A total waste of money, I feel ripped off. I should have tried what we tried next (on advice): getting an old sweater, cutting off a sleeve, and putting it around the cat's body, between the front and back legs.

This product look like it was made from a pair of leggings for a child!, roughly cut-out leg holes with, what looks like Pinking shears. I bought a Suitical Recovery suit Cat which is much better made and actually fits correctly.

I got this to stop our cat from over washing as he was becoming bald well it fitted we'll it still allowed him to come and go though his chip activated catflap . it didn't stop him from trying to wash himself so he soon put holes in it from constant washing and he eventually figured how to get it off though making it loose via the washing what can I say he's a annoying and very determined cat so much so he came home without it having ditched it !! Therefore I was disappointed that he licked holes in it and managed to ditch it in less than a week !!

Soooo after finding a small lump on my cat I was advised to monitor it. To cut a long story short after samples were send to the lab we needed to get them removed. I really didn't want him wearing the collar of shame so I thought I'd look for an alternative and found this vest. It arrived and I was sceptical but hey ho it's gotta be worth a try right? I decided I'd fit it before his surgery and I was slightly worried that having something over the wound make him uncomfortable. I did find myself a little bit nervous about cutting the back however I think I was being silly, within 2 seconds he was in it and seemed happy. He didn't seem to mind wearing it and actually I think it's given him a bit of comfort as it's that time of year when every night someone is setting fireworks off and scaring the be-Jesus out of him. After surgery it really made a difference, much better than the collar and I actually think it gave the wound a nice bit of support and by this time it had his scent on so I think it that was a comfort too. My vet was impressed (she'd never seen one before) Ditch the collar of shame and invest in 1 of these, id have given it 5 stars if I had a choice of colours but very pleased with my purchase

My cat, TC, is not the youngest and he's CLUMSY!! One tree-fall chasing little birds should've been enough to persuade him he's not as agile as he was but alas it wasn't. He ruptured some inner parts in his chest and I was dreading the collar my vet initially planned to use. However this alternative suit was suggested and thank goodness. TC actually loves it and really seems to get comfort from the support it offers which is a real extra bonus as it was only really supposed to stop him messing with the wound. The video instruction on how to use was really really helpful - I believe the manufacturer is actually a vet so the advice and the overall quality really gives me confidence in this supplier. If we lived nearer to their clinic we'd have them as our vet for TC. You can tell she really loves her animals and knows what she's doing. Thank you Simply Pets. This is what service should be.

Bad quality. Not stitched round the leg holes so the cat can eascape. My kitten pretty much got out of it and got access to her wound. Sizing all wrong. I had to stitch it and cut it to adapt. Contacted selling agents, but just got fobbed off with excuses and asked to review their sizing charts. Total waste of £21

Got this for a cat and we’re not at all impressed with the quality. The edges of the material are not hemmed. After one day, the material around the front edge has frayed from the cat licking it and the blue dye has come out of the material - so the cat now has a blue tongue! Also the front leg openings have stretched so the cat managed to get its front legs out.
