Alghazaleen green (tea bags)

While we usually drink use loose leaf teas, I like to keep tea bags in my office for convenience, and I also stock up on an assortment of teas at home for guests to choose from. This green tea is a good candidate for both purposes. It is, indeed, garden fresh, as advertises, very refreshing and hydrating. If steeped, as directed on the package - for 2-3 minutes in boiling-hot water, it is not too strong and not overly mild, not intensely bitter and not intensely green - rather golden with a hint of green, sporting herbal-fresh flavor with a slight and pleasant bitterness. It makes just the right finish to lunch or dinner, or can be used as a refreshing drink on its own that is smooth and very drinkable. Unlike black tea, it doesn't give me the tannic sensation of dry mouth. The tea in these bags is Chinese tea, hand picked in Hunan province, blended to ensure high quality, and packed in Sri Lanka. The tea is kosher - as per my understanding, it's self-certified by Akbar Brothers Ltd. You get 200 g, 100 bags of 2 g each in the box. You can find 100 bags of green tea anywhere from $5 to $22, depending on several factors, including quality, organic certification, country of origin, brand, and more. It's hard to comment on the place of this tea in this rank, but at the current price of $15, or 15 cents per bag, I would say, it's an average value. Recommended.

It’s good I just prefer their black cylon tea

This is a nice everyday green tea with a clean, mild flavor and a pleasant aroma. The tea bags are easy to use, and having 100 bags in one box makes it convenient for regular drinking without constantly needing to restock. I found it enjoyable on its own, although the flavor is a little lighter than I prefer. Four stars for me, but it’s still a good choice for a simple daily cup.

I am not a green tea expert, but I find this pretty easy to drink. The flavor is mild with a light grassy note, and it is not particularly bitter or astringent. The tea brews to a light golden color and has a smooth, light mouthfeel. The strength is definitely on the milder side, so this is more of an everyday green tea than something I would reach for when I want a strong cup. The bags and strings are convenient and hold up well while brewing, so there is not much fuss involved. The overall quality seems perfectly reasonable for a regular tea bag, and having 100 bags makes it a practical thing to keep around. As for health benefits, I honestly have no idea. I drink it because I like tea, not because I know enough about the health side of green tea to judge that. For an everyday green tea, I think the value is pretty reasonable.
