Amazing little gadget. I ordered this item as soon as I found out I was going to be fostering a terminally ill Birman cat. This has made life a lot easier. The tiny tablet sits in the cutting area in the top section and the tablet is halved effortlessly. The container has a pill holder which is handy and the bottom parts are where the grinding happens just by dropping the tablet into the bottom section and then re-attaching it to the main part of the gadget and tightening it. Good value for money and definitely a fantastic invention to make life a lot easier.

Does what it needs to, value for money

I purchased this for my nan who has recently came out of hospital. Whilst she was in there we witnessed the nurse using a similar crusher so we searched for one for when she came home. This has been great! She has dementia and struggles to swallow and this helps a lot. I would reccomend this pill crusher for anyone who has difficuly swallowing pills.

I use this to split one of my fur babies pill in half & crush another. I have disabilities (left neck & shoulder problems - I am left handed) but find this pretty easy to use. I have had a few of these & think this is the best one by far.

This pill cutter and crusher is OK. I ordered it to my mom’s house when she was dog sitting because we forgot to take ours. We mainly use the crushing facility. This one isn’t as sturdy as the other one we have. When you turn to grind the tablets, the plastic of the cutter section keeps turning and you can’t get the same level of control or tightness. This meant that we were unable to get the finer crushed power we are used to.

Our cats need to have tablets and some times it's half a tablet, this gizmo makes cutting a tablet v easy and then in the vase of it is another gizmo that then grinds it into a power. It has saved my time, my money - as half a tablet pings to the other side of the kitchen never to be found and so easy to sprinkle the crushed tablet into the food - a brilliantly simple and effective devise

We run a busy kennels and there’s a lot of different sizes pills for dogs. Tried various methods of feeding them their meds, chopping, hiding in sausage etc with very varied results. Found this and oh my, what an awesome gadget. I can crush tablets of any size and “hide” them in the dogs food. With the large ones I use the top section to cut them in half and then just grind them, couple twists and they’re fine powder. Best bit of kit we’ve ever bought.

I bought this to crush some humungous tablets. The top flips up and there is a diamond shape to put tablet in and a blade to cut, push down on lid to cut tablet, I feel that this would have been better if the blade went across the diamond, its better for smaller pills and the hinge is a bit flimsy. That part also lifts out to store pills on the go. The bottom part is what I wanted it for it unscrews, you put your tablet in, screw it back up and it crushes them, I find with bigger tablets I need to unscrew a bit the retighten a couple of times to get a nice even crush. Its up to you whether you crush into manageable lumps or powder. Sometimes it can be hard to align the screw thread and it takes a few goes. Handy piece of kit.

I have had many different pill cutters over the years. I love the way this one has a wide base, so I don't have to hold, or worry about the pill cutter falling over. Hope it lasts for a very long time.

Acheté en urgence pour une personne hospitalisée dans un établissement qui n'avait pas l'outil pour couper un tout petit comprimé en 4!!! Très efficace à condition de ne pas hésiter au moment de la coupe, il faut y aller franchement et d'un coup sec. Composé,dans la partie inférieur, d'un pilon à visse qui permet d'écraser un comprimé. Au dessus il y a un petit compartiment pour le stockage des comprimés. Produit solide, tombé plusieurs fois sans casser. Lavage aisé.

Lo compré para mi madre, que le cuesta tragar las pastillas enteras y con esto las puede partir o triturar. No he recibido ninguna queja así que supongo que hace su función sin problema. En su caso no lo tiene que partir en dosis exactas así que ella no tiene esa preocupación, pero este tipo de artículos hay que saber dónde colocar la pastilla para que la corte como quieres. Con otro similar que tengo para mis animales, lo que hago es bajar la tapa sin cerrar del todo con la pastilla colocada, para ver dónde va a cortar la cuchilla, por si lo tengo que mover o no
