Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver, Enhances Paint Flow for Airbrushing, 32 ml, Ideal for Smooth Application and Detail Work

Well worth buying because it does genuinely improve the airbrushing qualities of Vallejo acrylic paint. In use - and I accept that this may be my imagination - the paint seems to be 'fatter' and smoother when leaving the airbrush. There's almost a different feeling in the airbrush when in use. I use about three drops into the small cup on my airbrush - which isn't scientific but does the job. Hard to nail down why it feels different but the results and the better flow from my airbrush are real. There is only one question mark. Why isn't this product actually already blended into the Vallejo paints?

Just purchased my third bottle of Vallejo Flow Improver. I seriously wouldn’t airbrush without it now. Obviously it is trial and error as to how much you use and I’ve found for me a 50/50 mix of flow improver and paint works best.

By adding 4-5 drops to 10-15 drops of Vallejo color paints for using them in an airbrush , together they work very well, this helps to both thin and slow the drying time down a little which both helps with paint flow and stopping tip dry ( tip dry is when the paint dries on the tip of the airbrush needle...

Does what it says and improves the spray flow (and I think working time), useful for some non-Vallejo acrylic paints too and I have used it with Ammo MIG paints very successfully. A single drop is all that is needed in a typical gravity fed pot and it really makes a difference to a smooth spray. I use it only when really needed and only adding a single drop means that 32ml goes a very long way.

Maybe it's just coincidence, but Leroy Jethro Gibbs doesn't believe in coincidences... I put 1-2 drops of this in each time I fill the cup in my badger 105 patriot, since then I've had hardly any blockages. Doesn't seem to have had any effect on the consistency of the paint, literally just improves the flow. Only using 1-2 drops a time also means it's lasting ages. Which is great.

I'm new to airbrushing And am learning by watching YouTube videos (how did we function as a society before we had some one on a vid telling us how) Anyway.... A reoccurring must have was flow improver and not just any this make of flow improver I'm not convinced but then I probably don't know enough to know /tell It smells like their cleaner but feels greasy I think it is the cleaner maybe with a touch of glycerine I have recently bought some standard acrylic paint I want to use in the airbrush so I guess that will be a test (although I have sprayed watered down gesso ok)

I used it for my airbrush model painting works very well

The problem my husband receive it while I'm out of the country, its open and dry zero star for that .

Vallejo est une marque très bien pour la peinture aéro. Le flow improver permet que la peinture rmseche moins vite et de fait bouche moins l'aérographe. à ne pas confondre avec le thinner, qui permet une meilleure dilution de la peinture.
