This fridge/freezer thermometer does exactly what it’s supposed to. The stainless steel body feels strong and durable, and it handles the cold and moisture with no problem. The display is big and easy to read, which makes it quick to check the temperature at a glance. It covers a good temperature range and helps me make sure my food is stored safely. I also like that you can hang it or just place it on a shelf — it fits nicely without getting in the way. Great little tool to have for peace of mind in the kitchen!

The perfect solution to someone insisting the fridge is too cold and needs replacing. It works, and it's non-digital so works constantly, without requiring buttons being pressed, or calibration. A handy instant reminder to adjust temperature in the fridge.

These thermometers are great! I can personally vouch for their effectiveness. I purchased them after getting a Bosch fridge freezer with a manual temperature dial, and they’ve been incredibly helpful. By placing one in the fridge and another in the freezer, I was able to fine-tune the settings through trial and error to achieve the optimal temperatures. The built-in blue indicator section is especially useful, as it clearly shows the recommended temperature range for both the fridge and freezer. So far, so good. I've been using them for a month, and they’ve been reliable!

Excellent product, really accurate, quality

I decided to get this Salter brand thermometer instead of a cheaper 'unknown brand' model because you'd hope it would be more trustworthy, coming from Salter. It seems accurate enough and it needs to be because it's food safety that's at stake here. I need to know if my fridge or freezer is malfunctioning. I can't do any scientific tests but the readings are just what I would expect so far. The dial is very clear and it's marked for fridge and freezer (down to minus 30 Celsius). The only thing I don't like is that the little stand-cum-hook is very fiddly and hard to set in a position where it doesn't fall over. It's better if you hang it from the hook but the slats in my freezer run front to back so the thermometer faces sideways when hung and isn't so easy to read. So that could be better but overall I like this all-metal thermometer from a well-known brand, and being fully analogue it never needs batteries.

Salter. Quality all around. Can't be beat. Very accurate.

Ho acquistato due termometri, uno per la zona frigorifero e uno per la zona freezer. Dopo aver verificato la temperatura con un termometro digitale affidabile, posso affermare che entrambi i termometri sono molto precisi e che in fase di test riportavano entrambi la solita temperatura. La cassa del termometro è in acciaio inox ed è veramente fatta bene. Il termometro può essere agganciato o semplicemente appoggiato sui ripiani. Il quadrante è facilmente leggibile e le zone che indicano le giuste temperature di frigorifero e freezer sono molto utili. Reputo il prezzo un po' eccessivo, però va detto che questi termometri sono realizzati molto bene. L'unica mancanza è l'impossibilità di leggere le letture minime e massime, ma io volevo un termometro senza pile e quindi sono pienamente soddisfatto del mio acquisto.

Gut ablesbar, genaue Anzeige (mit kalibriertem ThermoMaven kontrolliert), in mehreren Richtungen aufhängbar und stellen ist auch gut machbar.
