Incredibly Sharp and Cuts Plasterboard Like Butter
5 stars — this Stanley FatMax Jab Saw is extremely sharp right out of the box. It cuts into plasterboard instantly with almost no effort and makes clean, fast work of drywall openings. The pointed tip makes starting cuts easy, and once you’re in, it glides through plaster walls like butter. You barely need to push — the blade does all the work. The grip is solid too, so you feel in control the whole time. Overall, a very sharp, easy-to-use saw that makes drywall cutting quick and effortless.

Stanley Fat Max Jab Saw
The quality of this little saw is excellent. However, in the 'Technical Details' on the Amazon site, it clearly states that there is a "Belt Holster with this saw." Sadly, this is not the case. The item arrived with nothing more than the cardboard 'point of sale' packaging. This is disappointing, because this item is often used up a ladder to cut holes in ceilings etc and to have to put the saw in ones pocket is not an option! I am currently awaiting Amazons' response. Update to follow. 19th Dec 2011 Amazon have been brilliant, as usual. It appears that the "Belt Holster with this saw" description was an error, and has now been removed from the website. Amazon have offered to either discount or fully refund for the item. Have decided to go for a refund and re-order via Amazon the same item but complete with a Scabbard for only £2.50 more. Thanks James at Amazon.

Does what it's meant to do
Sharp, easy to handle and comfortable grip. Bought to cut out back of Ikea bookcases to accommodate wiring for lamp, router etc. Not having done this before, I drilled a hole big enough to start the saw off the started sawing....don't know if that's what you do but it worked. The saw was stable, didn't waggle about and it did the job so I'm happy.

Pflichtwerkzeug in jeder Hobbywerkstatt
Man kann es einfach auf den Punkt bringen, ein super Werkzeug. Die Stichsäge ist sehr handlich und liegt fantastisch in der Hand. Ein ideales Werkzeug als Ergänzung zum Cuttermesser. Damit ist man auf alle unvorhergesehenen Schneideeinsätze vorbereitet. Wir haben bisher geschnitten: Holz in allen Varianten; Kunststoffrohre; Gipskartonplatten; Äste und Zweige. Ging alles wunderbar und durch die Anordnung der Scheidezähne haben wir bisher keinerelei Verlust des Schärfegrades festgestellt. Würden wir immer wieder kaufen.

De doble filo alterno, ligero, mango cómodo y se nota la calidad! Comparo con los plegable y los plegables tienen algo de holgura siempre! Recomendable.

OTTIMO PER IL CARTONGESSO
Ottimo strumento per tagliare il cartongesso, inizialmente sembra opporre troppa resistenza ma in realtà è perfetto. Ovviamente i tagli non saranno estremamente puliti come se fatti con il taglierino, ma è molto utile per aprire scatolette o fori vari Consigliato
