Just recently the heating pad was not turning on. I called the Pure Enrichment company for troubleshooting advice. After the company determined it was something not fixable they arranged for me to get a new heating pad. The heating pad came the next day. I also have several air purifiers from this company that I have had for quite a few years that run constantly that are of the highest quality. I really mean it when I say that their products and polite helpful customer service is impressive. I would just like to add that the Far Infrared heating pad has the most deep penetrating soothing warmth. A regular heating pad cannot compare with this type of technology. A regular heating pad just feels like surface heating and inferior compared to Far Infrared. Whatever pain or soreness you have, in my opinion this is a truly a therapeutic device. I urge you to read about the benefits of Far Infrared and you will find this type of heating pad is a great investment for your health.

At first, maybe because I expected more from an infrared pad, I was undecided. After a week of use, I'm glad I gave this a try. The highest setting gets plenty warm, and the weight is soothing. The dark blue mink is soft, high quality, and a great change from the common 'therapy grey'. Additionally, the two hour automatic shut off is a great feature. (This shutoff isn't adjustable.) As a chronic pain sufferer, heating pads are essential. My last pad was also a regular Pure Enrichment xl, and that thing lasted 6+ years of constant use, so I'm hoping for the same longevity. The construction of the infared pad feels sturdy.

This heating pad surprised me in the best way. It feels premium right out of the box, and unlike others I’ve owned, it stays completely flat even after cooling down. No weird curling, no stiff edges—just a solid, well‑made pad that’s easy to position exactly where you need it. The infrared heat is fantastic. It’s deeper and more soothing than regular electric pads, and it stays consistent across the whole surface. My only frustration is the auto‑off feature. It shuts off pretty quickly, and there’s no option to extend the time. I understand the safety angle, but it would be great to have at least a couple of timer settings. If you can live with restarting it during longer sessions, the quality and heat performance make this a strong choice.

The heating pad is a good, solid weight. The cover is very soft and the heating pad itself is pliable and flexible, not stiff like my current pad. I like that it stays on for a couple of hours without automatically turning off, and even when I turn it to high, the temperature seems to moderate itself throughout the length of time that it's on. In other words: even when it's at its warmest, it doesn't stay at that temp. It comes down a bit then goes back up. It has really done my arthritic knee a world of good. Also, I didn't get the largest size, but the one I got is ample.

I’ve had this since last May and it has been a lifesaver! I suffered some pretty significant low back pain and sitting in the car for several hours is required many times in a summer due to my son‘s travel baseball schedule. I bought an adapter so I can use this in the car and it has made it to where I can actually tolerate the trips. Very grateful. I use it at home often as well and I just love it. We took it to New York with us last year when we were gonna be gone for 10 days and it was such a help to be able to have in the evenings as well after a long day.

The far infrared heat emitted by this pad actually does reach deeper than just a regular heating pad. I have had a fatal knee replacement on one knee and have recently been having trouble with my other one. I saw a YouTube video about the deep penetration of far infrared energy and decided to try it. I’ve used it a few weeks now and it has greatly eased my pain. So much so that I don’t need pain meds.

The Pure Enchantment Pure Relief Heating Pad met my expectations. It is heavier weight than previous heating pads — heats quickly and remains heated for a significant period of time. It helps ease my back pain — but it’s penetrating infrared properties are somewhat over stated.
