It's so tricky buying gifts for teenage girls these days, and I wanted to find something more meaningful than the usual clothes or gadgets. I stumbled upon this book and the title alone felt perfect. It looked like a guide to prepare teenage girls for life without being preachy or boring. I gave this as a birthday gift to my 14-year-old niece. I was half-expecting a polite 'thank you' before it was put on a shelf, but I was so pleasantly surprised. Her mum told me later that she'd been dipping in and out of it constantly. The format of 101 short, easily digestible topics is genius. It covers everything from practical life skills to social situations. The feedback was that it was "actually really interesting" – which is high praise indeed! A brilliant, thoughtful gift that strikes exactly the right tone.

I purchased this book for my 14 year old daughter and will be returning it,as unfortunately she is too old for it. Which is a shame as I think this book is amazing. There is a lot of useful and helpful information in this book. I think it explains things well. It would be perfect if you have a shy girl or find it difficult communicating or explaining stuff. I would have benefitted hugely from this when I was younger. As stated before I am only returning as my daughter is too old for this book. I would suggest Girls under 13 but it does also depend on them too. (8-13 years). Would recommend 👌

If buying as a gift for a teenager I would suggest giving it to the parents first for their approval. I think it would be beneficial to a teenager as it gives very good advice on various topics

Give this to any teenage child; you would be appreciated for it, speaking from experience.
