Really does work!
This is a very effective, good tasting expectorant that thins mucus and allows you to get rid of it sitting on your chest. I've used it before and I know it works. It is very well priced too whereas I've seen it in chemist's and other outlets for a much higher price. Highly recommended.

Effective for chesty coughs, but strong taste and small bottle
I used Benylin Mucus Cough Max Menthol during a cold where I had a heavy, mucus-filled cough, and it was helpful in easing my symptoms. Pros: -Very effective at loosening my mucus – within a short time of taking it, my chest felt clearer. -Works relatively fast – I noticed relief after the first few doses, particularly with thick mucus Cons: -Strong taste – the menthol flavour is quite intense . It’s manageable, but those sensitive to strong flavours may find it unpleasant. -Small bottle – the bottle doesn’t last very long. -Not cheap for the size – I do feel the price is slightly high considering how quickly the bottle runs out. -Limited scope – it works well for chesty, mucus coughs, but I do wish it helped with all types of cough. -Short shelf life -once opened, it can only be used for 4 weeks after opening. Overall: This syrup worked well for me when dealing with a mucus-based cough I have given 3 stars due to the strong taste, small bottle size, limited cough coverage, and the 4-week use limit once opened.
