Not the largest of butterdishes but is adequate for my use and matches lovely with my bread bin

It's a good product but be aware it doesn't hold a block of butter which I thought it would do. Fits less than half. My own fault as I should have read all the reviews.

The unit will not take a euro 500g of butter..the sizing is a little misleading.

The housewares butter came in time and very easy to use. It doesnt occupiy too much space in the fridge and it is in ceramic. A good price for a great use in the kitchen. The butter fit perfectly in the dish having also a little bit of space. I've used for a couple of years and still working perfectly

It works but gets greasy really quickly due to the fact it has no handle to lift the lid. The lid also slides around on the dish a fair bit meaning it gets easily coated in butter. Aesthetically it's lovely and gives off a charming vintage/cottagey feel but it's just not the best quality. In all its not worth the money and we have just replaced it because of these issues.

In precedenza avevo acquistato un porta burro in plastica trasparente. Pur essendo in plastica, dopo alcuni mesi di utilizzo si era rotto alla prima caduta, poiché il materiale era particolarmente rigido. Ho optato allora per sostituirlo con questo in ceramica, conquistata dal design vintage e dal colore neutro. Si è rivelato un contenitore perfetto per le mie esigenze. Solitamente acquisto panetti di burro da 100 grammi, che si inseriscono perfettamente nel porta burro, oppure da 250 grammi. Nel caso di questi ultimi più grandi, quando apro la confezione per utilizzare il burro per la prima volta, tolgo il pezzetto che mi serve per cucinare dopodiché anche il panetto da 250 grammi entra perfettamente nel porta burro. Trovo molto comoda l'apertura, che consiste semplicemente nel sollevare la parte superiore, il burro rimane sempre appoggiato sul vassoietto inferiore e lo si riesce a tagliare direttamente lì. Il burro si conserva molto bene ed il contenitore è esteticamente molto gradevole anche da portare in tavola. Peccato solo che non si possa lavare in lavastoviglie, ma è comunque facile da lavare a mano. Dopo qualche mese di utilizzo è comparsa una lieve crepa nella parte superiore di lato, ipotizzo sia potuto succedere perché è stato lavato con acqua calda o per qualche sbalzo termico tra il frigo e l'esterno, resta comunque un segno non troppo evidente, che non ne pregiudica la bellezza. È diventato uno degli oggetti che preferisco nella mia cucina, un accessorio elegante ad un prezzo contenuto. Lo consiglio.

It looks exactly like the picture but it isn't big enough to put a pound of butter underneath it which I assumed based on its shape that it was that size. Its also more of a yellow/cream color than white for anyone wanting to match it to white dishware.
