An excellent medium format film for black and white buffs
Great product and delivery etc. Used this years ago along with Kodak tri x and Agfa films. This is excellent and reliable black and white film.

Good service
Films ariveed in good condition and quickly. I have used this film for years and it works well in my 1960,s Rollieflex 3.5f twin lens reflex German camera. I have not used the camera for some time as I have had digital Nikon SLRs for many years now. Ilford have their own lab in UK and they do a good job in processing and also made a full set of high quality scans so I could print them and use Photoshop on the computer to improve the images.

... after purchasing a medium format camera and found them easy to use
I bought these rolls of film after purchasing a medium format camera and found them easy to use, installing in the camera and storing. The film produces sharp, high quality black and white images with a slightly higher than standard level of contrast. I would suggest that anyone sending the film away for development use Ilford's own film lab as the resulting prints were of superb quality

Does not work with some older cameras.
Many years ago I used a lot of 120 roll film, much of it Ilford. It worked fine in my 1950s Kodak. This time I wanted it to test some older cameras. I tried it in an Ensign Epsilon, taking square 6x6mm negatives and an Agfa Isolette taking 9x6mm negatives. In neither did the numbers indicating the winding distance between frames appear. They did appear in an even older Zeiss Nettar. So if you want it for a vintage camera, just buy one so you can check this. I am lucky that I have a number of rollfilm cameras and will be able to use all three films

Ilford, still a name to be trusted.
I recently decided to go back to doing a bit of film photography so bought some Ilford HP5 as a well-known name from the past. Good quality B&W film. Use by date September 2023 so no worries there.

Non a caso la pellicola 400 asa più nota, perdona molto e ha una grana accettabile, soprattutto se ben trattata in fase di sviluppo. Contrasto giuso.

Haven't tried this particular rolls of film yet (although have used this brand before). Giving a 5 star rating due to the nice vintage packaging, which came as a (very welcomed) surprise. Looking forward to shoot these rolls.
