Panasonic WhisperAir Repair Filter-Free Ceiling Mount Air Purifier, FV-01VCN1

The scenario: Large master bedroom with older carpet. 12' ceilings. About 3500 cubic feet. Two large German Shepherd Dogs and their large beds. On some mornings the pungent dog funk would be definitely noticeable when entering the room. The solution: Installed this device at end of room without HVAC vent. Wired to ceiling fan power for fan so we turn fan on/off with fan's built-in pull string. Let it run for 1 week before forming an opinion. The result: WOW. A definite improvement in air quality. The room air smells crisp and clean 24/7 now. When waking up in the morning my sinus allergies are barely noticable now. Highly recommend this product. It works and is barely noticable in the white ceiling (didn't have to paint). Certainly can't hear it operating at all. Will most likely install more in other rooms.

These are very quiet and seem to work great keeping the air fresh. I wish I had purchased more of them during our remodel.

Not sure how it works, but the air smells cleaner and fresher without leaving a weird or artificial smell.

Since I installed the NanoeX my kitchen smelled a lot better! The air quality has improved and the smell of the food after cooking was gone after an hour. Perfect device for household I plan to purchase few more!

This works well for cleaning and tuning over the air. Up until now, I’ve had a simple exhaust fan that vents through the roof. Since I already had an exhaust fan in my ceiling, it was simply a matter of disconnecting the old one and installing the new one. The biggest challenge was the drywall work as the fan was square and this one is round My opinion, this product would be a lot better if it were square and of similar size as most common ceiling Exhaust fans.

SMELL ELIMINATION: I found this to be completely effective for my application: a two-cat litter box in the basement furnace room. The room is open to the rest of the basement. It took a couple of days (as I expected) but the smell is completely gone. Slowly the rest of the 1100 sq ft main floor is also responding. SAFETY: My research has satisfied my needs that this type of hydroxyl technology is safe for this application. This is NOT ozone, which would not be safe. INSTALLATION: The installation instructions state that the unit should be installed in the ceiling and not freestanding. My basement has open floor joists. I mounted the unit in a piece of plywood and screwed it to the joists. I then connected a flexible cord and ran it to an electrical receptacle. If you choose to do this make sure that the strain-relief connector to the connection box on the unit will not chafe the cord jacket/insulation and cause a short in the wiring.

Item fan defective and squeaky. Also let's off a bad odour. I requested a replacement but I need to pay for shipping. Most expensive seller too. My fault for trusting this seller.

It's quiet. It's effective at letting me breath better. I want more of them.

The whisper air I received definitely isn’t whisper quiet. It’s has just a very loud and high frequency buzzing. I don’t think that’s normal. Returns can only be done on unopened products, how am I suppose to know if the product is faulty without installing it? Asked for an exchange at the very lease and got ghosted by seller

Bought from Honest Ed’s seller. Item did not remove smell from a closet I have after running it for two weeks. Asked to return and they want you to pay shipping, only accept unopened items (yet you can choose bad performance meaning you opened it) and even if unopened, you get charged a 30% restocking fee. Rip off.
