For our first use, we slowly brought it up to 500F. It worked great to grill our steaks and vegetables. Next time we will bring it up to 600F to see if it will cook the food quicker and stay hot longer. Cute knives too!

Got for nephew and his wife. It was a nice set and nice Christmas gift.

We have a local restaurant that serves "hot rock filets" - we didn't want to pay a mortgage payment to go out so I ordered two of these for my birthday dinner to recreate the concept at home. They are pretty big. There were 6 of us, only 4 of us cooking on them & there was plenty of room. We heated them in the oven at 550º. They stayed hot clear through dinner & still had to let them sit out to cool after. Super fun home dinner party + a fraction of the cost of going out to dinner. And we can do this again and again. Going to take them camping with us too.

Quality and durability is great but for me it was hard to cook with because the heat doesnt last long. I bought this to use for date movie nights. I tried cooking thin steaks on it and found that the meat was half cooked. I followed the instructions and let it heat up in the oven for an hr, but it still didn’t last long enough to cook my steaks well done.

Husband loves ordering hot stone dishes when we go to restaurants so really liked the idea of being able to do this at home. Been very fun to cook steaks or fajita vegetables on it. Very easy to use and has great heat distribution. It’s a great size that we can cook enough food for both of us. Also cleans very easily so really glad we tried it.
