The best invention! Solid, thick, plastic. A simple idea which works for my hens. Saves me running out and filling up their water every couple of days. This will last them a good month at least!! 5 stars for me in terms of product, cost and design very happy!!!

Set up was easy, just clip in the 3 legs, place it on a level surface and fill it with water, initially couldn’t work out where to leave the valve position so referred to previous reviews, so with the lid on fully, and the valve fully open it works perfectly. Yes iff it is out in the sun for more than a week or 2 you will get the usual green algae start to build up, but if I expect with my 9 birds I will rinse and refill on a weekly basis anyway which is what I was doing on a daily basis with my previous smaller waterer. They do seem to make a bit of a mess with food from their beaks in the drinking bowl but no more than any other devises or bowls

I needed a drinker that could easily service 30 hens without having to check on it several times a day. As the girls are totally free range and they're often visited by a variety of wildlife, from rabbits to roe deer, who also want water, I wanted a large capacity but liftable solution. I already have a 15 and a 10 litre drinkers but one developed a leak and the other was impossible to fill without using the hosepipe. I saw this and reckoned it would do the job. Bad points: When full it is barely portable unless you are very fit and strong, after all, it does weigh in excess of 33kgs (approx 70lbs) and it only has one relatively small handle on one side. The filling tube, for want of a better word, cannot be fully turned off so it is losing water, albeit slowly, when it is being filled. Good points: Very well made, good quality plastic, not thin and flimsy. Sturdy legs, easily supporting the body any reducing contamination from the soil. Once in situ it can be topped up easily via a watering can, despite water trickling out. I use this method as I don't have running water near my hen-house and I haven't a hose long enough to reach. Despite the box having 'assembly instructions' on it, other than pushing on the legs it came ready for use. Although delivery was quoted as several weeks, it actually came within a few days.

It is so big—what great value. It keeps all the mess the chickens create out of their water. Remember to turn the nozzle to the off position before filling; don't be like me, wondering what I'm doing wrong. It is heavy when full, but just use a watering can or hose pipe to top it up. The girls love it, too.

Great drinker and well made, holds a lot of water but an absolute nightmare to clean. Mine started to get green algae inside after a week in the sun.

My chooks need to drink more water in this hot weather and this huge tank is so much better than the smaller types that sit on the floor. Saves me lots of time trudging back and forth with watering cans. The chooks appreciate it as well because they never run out of cool water to drink. The sheer volume of it means that it doesn’t heat up and become warm, especially as the drinker is kept in the shade. Highly recommended.

Fabulous product! No balancing an upside-down watering system whilst I fill it up! It lasts ages for my 4 chickens instead of refilling every 2/3 days. Very sturdy! Works perfectly! I haven't needed to clean it yet so my 5 star 'easy to clean' rating could be wrong as I've no idea how easy that will be but so far the base has been extremely easy to keep clean. I just tip it over a little for the dirty water to drain and let wipe the base and then let the fresh water come through. Really glad I bought it :)

Ist auch nach Jahren noch in Ordnung nur am Wasserstands bilden sich Algen die man regelmäßig beseitigen muss

Très bon abreuvoir, surtout pour un petit élevage ou un poulailler familial. Les 30 litres permettent de tenir plusieurs jours sans recharger, ce qui est vraiment confortable au quotidien. Le fait qu’il soit sur pieds est un vrai plus : l’eau reste plus propre, moins de saletés ou de terre dedans, et les poules y accèdent facilement. Le plastique est léger mais semble suffisamment robuste pour une utilisation extérieure. Facile à remplir et à déplacer malgré sa taille, il fait clairement le job sans complication. Un équipement simple, efficace et bien pensé pour ceux qui veulent gagner du temps et garder une eau propre plus longtemps.

Ho recentemente acquistato questo abbeveratoio da 30 litri per le mie galline e non potrei essere più soddisfatta. La sua capacità è perfetta per garantire acqua fresca. Ecco perché lo consiglio: Capacità: 30 litri sono sufficienti per diversi giorni, anche con un pollaio numeroso. Non devo preoccuparmi di riempire l'abbeveratoio costantemente. Robustezza: La plastica è resistente e sembra durare nel tempo. Le galline ci si arrampicano sopra senza problemi e l'abbeveratoio rimane stabile. Facile da pulire: La forma semplice e i materiali lisci rendono la pulizia un gioco da ragazzi. Basta sciacquare con acqua e detersivo per igienizzare. Pratico: Le maniglie laterali permettono di spostarlo facilmente quando è vuoto. Inoltre, il design permette alle galline di bere senza sporcare l'acqua. Unica nota: A volte, con il caldo intenso, l'acqua tende a scaldarsi un po'. Per ovviare a questo problema, ho posizionato l'abbeveratoio in un'area ombreggiata del pollaio. Conclusione: Se stai cercando un abbeveratoio pratico, resistente e con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, questo modello da 30 litri è sicuramente un'ottima scelta. Le mie galline lo adorano e io sono molto soddisfatta.
