Great light output & Battery!
I’ve tried many headlamps throughout the years with being a HVAC tech & having to work at night sometimes while on call or daily in attics. The amount of light this headlamp outputs is amazing! Plus the battery life is the cherry on top for me. Little pricey but well worth it when you use it everyday, don’t even notice it being on your head with the design style. The battery being on the back side of your head makes it very evenly weighed. The function of the buttons make it easy to turn on/off or change modes when you need to. Functionality wise, no other headlamps come close in my opinion. Great Product from Olight!

Very bright!
I am absolutely blown away by the OLIGHT Array 2 Pro headlamp. The 1500 lumens of light is incredibly bright and has been a game-changer for my nighttime outdoor activities. The rechargeable battery and motion sensor features are super convenient. The headlamp is also very comfortable to wear. I've used it for camping, running, and working, and it has performed flawlessly. I highly recommend this headlamp to anyone in need of a reliable and powerful lighting solution. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!

My first non-5-star OLight
I have over a dozen OLight products, and every one of them deserves a 5-star review for quality and performance. Unfortunately, this one does not. It's still a good tool, though, just didn't quite meet expectations. I primarily used this while working in my attic. It's plenty bright with a good beam angle, and I was able to see everything I needed. My first disappointment is with the motion control. My assumption was that the motion control would turn the light on and off. False. Motion control only works after you turn the light on manually, and it merely switches between spot and flood mode. Motion control does adjust brightness of the spotlight, too, which works fine, but it's the on/off control that wasn't what I expected. Also, certain movements while navigating obstacles in my attic would "trick" the light into thinking I'd waved my hand across the front, even though nothing was anywhere near it, so the mode or brightness would change on me unexpectedly. I understand that a sensor like that can't be perfect, so I'm not going to count that against OLight, but it was kind of annoying when it would happen while my hands were full. My second disappointment is with the battery and charging. I spent maybe 4 to 6 hours in and out of my attic with this light over a few different days. The light barely lasted long enough for me to complete my work, and I only ever had the brightness as high as I needed, so it wasn't like it was on full blast the whole time. And the charging is very slow, even with a >1A charger, so if I forgot to put it on the charge before the next day, I was skunked the next day. The red indicator on the back has segments that flash sequentially to show that the battery is charging. I'm accustomed to other OLight products showing battery level, but that is not the case on this light, so you never know how much charge the battery has or how much longer a full charge might take. Overall, it's still a quality product that works well, and I'm happy to have it and would recommend it to others.

NO SPOT BEAM, flood only. Red is a hemisphere of brightness. Battery not replaceable. 5h recharge.
Olight Array 2 headlamp Flood headlamp, no spot. Red is bright. Battery not replaceable. 5h recharge. = Compact lightweight rectangular box headlamp + Bright white or red + Battery hangs in back. + Small & lightweight. + Remembers last setting. – Troublesome single button digital light controls work poorly or not at all. – Only 3 levels of brightness. Needs 3 more lower lightness levels. – No spot lamp. – Battery does not last long on high. – 5h recharge time. – Battery not replaceable. Uses only built-in rechargeable battery. Cannot use battery packs. RECOMMENDATIONS If you always use bright in white or red, and want medium lighting times, and a lightweight headlamp with non-replaceable battery packs, and don't mind frequent recharging, this may be the headlamp for you. If you want great dimming also, or longer battery life, this isn't it. For longer battery duration and replaceable batteries, check out the Fenix $120 HP25R, which uses 21700 batteries.

Nice design and quality
Powerful and light. I own other types of Olights and I love the fact they've kept the same pattern for the UI (number of presses for different functions) as they have in they're other flashlight models. Love the hand wave feature for easy switch between settings. You don't have to take off your gloves in cold weather to fumble with the switch. Seems solid as well. Love it.

It’s decent, not the greatest as a mechanic however.
This light is pretty decent, battery life honestly kind of sucks. It also gets extremely hot when using, I assume this is meant for outdoors since it has fins built in for cooling. If it gets too hot it’ll dim to its lowest setting which isn’t bright enough for dark engine bays. The controls are finicky and slightly complicated switch between brightness or switching from a 1light to duel light mode. And then there’s a “lock/unlock mode” where if you press the button once the light will flash and you have to press the button for a certain amount of time to change it and then double pressing or something. I also somehow entered hand motion mode, because whenever the sensor passes an object when I’m working on a car, it also dim and it’ll keep doing it. It’s super annoying. I think the controls could use an update as well as the battery. I will be trying other stuff they have for sale. I still believe the brand is quality, but this light product is not for me and I wouldn’t recommend this for auto techs. I will keep using it and eventually get comfortable with the controls since I paid 90 bucks for it, I’m not gonna let it sit in my tool box.
