This tape is more like gaff tape in the way it tears, it is thicker and more sturdy. From the stickiness of the sides of the roll it appears to be more sticky that the Pro Tapes stuff that I have been using. However, it does seem to easily unstick without leaving glue behind, and it is sharpie markable, so it does appear to be usable as board tape. It's rather off white in colour, almost cream. As a bonus, it's cheaper than Pro Tapes quarter inch board tape. Would recommend as a board tape. Review: The best tape for studios. - Brilliant tape for photography studio use. Doesn't leave residue but has a great adhesion. You can leave on gear for an extended period of time (weeks, months) and will not leave any residue.
